Alcohol always has a way of loosening his tongue. He always forgets to be careful about it despite all of my warnings, but at least this time he was in no danger from his surroundings.

[His reservations about Lyney aside, he's heard good enough things about the bar from Kaveh that he figures its trustworthy enough. And its not even a place where Kaveh had a hand in (re)designing this time round.]

Yes. He was my senior when we were students in the Akademiya.

That is only applicable if we remained together after graduation, which is not the case.

[Yeah they were together while still students but it wasn't... the same. And also ended horribly. So kind of hard to count it, in his opinion, at least in the romance aspect.]

Aw, don't sweat that. It's all part of the history. I'd still say you're school sweethearts. You got back together and now you're getting married so that makes it even better.
