I hope this is working? This is Sorey, if it is. I haven't really used something like this before but I hope I've figured it thanks to Nimona. Assuming this is working. I just wanted to ask. For those of you that know others here. If you remember more than the other person from home. If something happens, something bad, to them. I don't know. I want to tell them but I'm also not sure if I should? If it's my place? I don't know if that would change anything even if I were to say something. I still feel like being honest is the best, but I don't really. Know them that well? It's. Complicated....

Leave that for them to decide. That's the best advice I have.

So, what, you'd just. Tell them? And let them figure what they want to do with that information? Even if it's upsetting? Even if there might not be a way to fix what happens?

I mean leave it for them to decide if they want to know or not. Some might hold it against you for not saying anything. Others might not like being told.

Right. I guess. Talk to him and see if he wants me to let him know about what I'm aware of from my end. About what's going to happen to him. Let him know that I can tell him if he wants? It's not. Good news, but. I don't know. I figure he deserves to be aware? If he wants me to say anything at least.

My situation's a little different. I'm not the person who knows more, but the one who knows less, and honestly? Still not sure how much I wanna hear about my own future.

Right. Yeah, I'd want to check with him to be sure if he wants to know. I just. I'm just not so sure how to go about this. It's. Not exactly like I'm gonna be giving him good news about what happens to him. From what I know, when I met him. It's....complicated. He's from so far before me, probably before I was even born, most likely.

[But he supposes. To at least give Eizen that choice. If he wants to know. Or, probably his priority might just be making sure Sorey was taking care of Edna for him. That she was alright. But even so. This isn't easy. Sorey wants to do right by him. As best he can with what context he does have.]

As someone who has been on both sides, it will depend on the person. Some may want to know their future no matter what the outcome and handle it fine. Others may not be so open to the idea.

I will warn you that you may want to consider what would happen if they later learn about it and you kept mum about it the whole time. Again it depends on the person and what it is you're withholding, but they may not take it well.

At best you can mention you know their future but leave it to them to decide if they want to know or not.

I guess. I don't want to purposely keep secrets. To not tell him if he might want to know. I just. I feel bad. Like. I wish this could be better news to tell him about what I know?

I've been told what my future is. I think the idea behind it is to try and prevent some things from happening, but I don't know if that'll go over well.

I don't think there's much point in worrying about what the future holds if you're the person. Something's changed anyway, and if it happens later there won't be anything I can do about it.

You should maybe just say that you know what happens and ask if they want to know?

Good news or bad news doesn't really matter, I think. There's always a chance that it might not happen or there's a way to change it.

It is. I don't want to feel like I'm lying by not telling you what I know. But if you don't want to know, I'm not going to make you listen. It's not right to force it if you're not ready. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done to change things, what might happen if I were to say anything. So I wasn't sure. I'm sorry.

A little? I mostly know of them through stories from someone else?

A way to change it? I'm not sure. It might have happened back before I was even born to be able to do anything myself. Unless telling him might change things. I don't know....

I don't know if that's possible to prevent or change what happened. But I guess, yeah. All I can do is offer that I know more about what happens and see if they want to hear, to know or not.

Then no love lost if things go sour.

In all seriousness, just mention it to him. If he decides he wants to hear it out, give a warning and tell the truth. Not to mention, you seem like the type who might not be able to keep this little secret well, so it's bound to come out, anyway.

There isn't anything to be sorry about. Regardless of if you tell me or not, it won't change the choices that I end up making in the long run.

Besides, I'll be blunt, I already have an idea of how my path ends and you skirting around the topic to this degree just about confirms it.

Maybe it wouldn't change anything but. I'd feel better at least offering to tell you what I know.

I don't know either. That's the experiment I think. It would be nice if we can change it, but if not we'll handle it as it comes.

That's probably your best bet. Is the future really that bad?

Why are you asking us? There's only one person whose opinion matters and that's whoever's future it is. You should let them make their own decisions.

But I guess that's true. I'm not really used to hiding anything. Or lying or anything like that. So at the least I can give him the option if he wants to know or not.

I guess I hadn't considered. The possible implications. If we're not just from different places but different times, that things could be changed. Maybe.

But it's. Pretty bad. I want to try help fix things if I can. Kind of hard to from here though but once I get back home. I want to keep trying to find some way to help.

Yeah. You're right. I just. I guess I wasn't sure, I figured maybe others here had something similar, might have advice. Or something like that. Usually I'm the one others are explaining to, teaching because of growing up pretty sheltered.
