Then immediately cauterize the spot where the vine grew from the skin. It will hurt immensely as the vine roots burns from within. Use a healing spell after for the damage the fire causes. The affliction will be defeated.
I do not recommend it, but if the other treatment is out of reach and no other option prevents itself, then that can be done.
