His eyes dart to his left, to a locked supply closet where he kept his more important projects. He moves sharply to his left and kicks the door in. He steps out of sight for a moment then returns with a completed Beacon Box.]

[He holds the box up above his head defiantly.]
If you want it so badly you're gonna have to run me down for it!
[He takes a few quick steps out of the smithy and tears off down the street, box tucked protectively under his arm like a football. He knows Benedikta is smarter than this. She can probably tell he's leading her away from the town. But he's hoping she's at least desperate enough to bite. To run him down and they can settle up where no one else stands to get hurt.]
