Hey, guys! Hope everyone's doing okay after the whole... ink tentacle disaster... thing. That was. A lot. And, uh, well, during that, I kind of lost my leg. And by kind of I mean definitely.
[ She moves the device down - she's sitting down on a couch, and shows her one normal leg, and her other leg that ends at a stump above the knee. She then realizes how she made that sound, and swiftly pulls the camera back to her face. ]
NOT A FLESH LEG! I forgot not everyone knows about that... Oops. A-hem.
I had a metal prosthetic leg made out of rocket-ship parts and Oxy-chew. If possible, I'd love to have it back, so if anyone goes deep-sea diving and happens to come across it, I'd owe you forever and a half. I'm kind of attached to it... well, not literally at the moment. It's sentimental.
But I'm not the type to sit back and wait stuff out, so! More importantly! I'm here asking for anyone who knows where I can get another leg? Any special shops or such that specialize in such a thing? I'm not asking for anything fancy - so long as I can move around, I'm happy.
So, thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out! Hope you guys have an awesome day! Della Duck, over and out!

[ She then slaps her thigh, ha-cha! ]
And it doesn't hurt at all. Got the injury over ten years ago.

sometimes it feels like she has. ]
Hasn't been that long for me. [ which isn't meant as a comparison or "one of us has it worse than the other;" more a gentle realization that she isn't alone on this front. and they can trade stories and support, if needed. ] But I remember what it was like after.
[ how people started treating her, how hard it was to adjust to doing things in a different order, making sure she always knows where the leg is, what its condition is, what she'd do if something happened to it. that last part is why she's finally going to see cid: having a back-up in a place like this is the right call. ]
Normally, I'd ask if you've got anyone looking for your leg, but if it involves diving, I can't say I'm in a position to go that far. But I'll keep an eye out for it in Eltrut and on the other leviathans. See if it comes up on a salvage operation or a pirate or smuggler run.

[ She keeps smiling, but it does become a little sad. The leg was a symbol of both success and failure. A reminder of what she can do - and what she must never do again. ]
But, I guess I'm just dumb enough to keep a little bit of hope out there.
