Subject: Relationship advice?
Warnings: N/A just a guy being sappy
I've been thinking about something lately and I figure I might as well ask the rest of you for a bit of advice.
I realised it's coming up on a year since I met my partner, pretty soon here. I've never really dated anyone seriously before, or paid much attention to these things at all if I'm honest.
What sort of thing do most people do for a first anniversary? How… big of a deal is it generally considered to be? I don’t want to go overboard or anything but I’d like to do something nice.
Maybe some of you could share traditions from your worlds?
Thank you.

Even if he actually thought that was something Keigo was likely to agree to, he’s not sure how he feels about the idea. To be tied to someone that way, even someone he loves enough that he desperately doesn’t want to lose them? He doesn't necessarily fear the idea of commitment, but he’s never exactly been fond of the idea of marriage and… everything that tends to entail.
He thinks about white robes dragging him down.
He thinks about a particular folk story.
Tomorrow I will be married. But I also know that it can’t be true, because this is not who I am. It is not who I will ever be. I cannot give myself up to be shaped by this match and this commitment. I cannot be bound into this life that they have planned for me.
Then become something else, the Trawler-man says—
…Sorry Sherlock, you’re getting left on read for a while. ]
