Have you ever had to reinvent yourself?

I mean, have to might be a bit much, but let's say you get a chance to, and maybe there's some things you want to leave behind, and anything that could've been stopping you before, isn't.

How would you do it?

It just seems like an awkward conversation to have.

The questions have answers, the problem is that I'm not sure they're the kind of thing you just go around telling people. Some of it just might be too much information.

I hadn't considered what would happen if people didn't accept it. I probably should've. That would make it difficult to decide if this is worth the hassle at all.

on the other hand, how would you feel if you dropped it? you obviously care enough, if you're seeking advice.

i admit, i'm curious about what kinds of changes you're planning on making.

I'd probably feel stuck, but I'm also used to that. It can just get frustrating now.

There's a few things. They don't seem like that big of a deal maybe, so I could just keep bearing it. It's not like I have a bad image, just a curated one.

i think i understand. may i guess that this image is curated for "the masses"?

one of the benefits of being in this world is that the masses aren't here. so you only have to worry about whoever else from your world is here with you.

it might be the best opportunity to drop the burden, even if it's one you're used to.

Something like that. The circumstances that brought it about aren't in play anymore.

I've been debating if it's worth it. No one's here but me, so that's not the issue. It's more unburdening myself, I guess. But if it's going to be a huge hassle it might not be worth it.

if you're worried about the hassle, then make it less of a hassle.

prepare a paper to hand to people with answers to any questions they may ask. that way, you don't have to expend extra energy answering the same questions over and over.

or you can do what i like to do: act off-putting enough, and people will leave you alone and not ask any follow up questions.

I'm not sure off-putting is what I'm going for. I'm good enough at keeping people at arm's length.

I don't know, I've been thinking about this for months, I'm probably overthinking it.
