SHIVER ME TINDERS

Something’s been glitching with everyone’s shellphones this month…! They suddenly fizzle and go black and when they reboot it appears there’s been some unwanted activity happening on them on your behalf.

A network post has appeared and with it, fake social media profiles have popped up too. You didn’t post to it, the shellphones have automatically done that for you. They’ve posted one picture, your age and three random facts about you. Whether or not those facts are true or not is … sketchy at best.

If you’re curious, go scrolling through the network post and see what it says about others! Comment around and ask them about their facts! And maybe make a new friend?

- Oocly, you will post your character to the network post with a picture, name and age and three random facts.
- The facts don't have to be true and can be entirely made up and be random or wild. Or they can be the realist facts about your character. It's up to you.
- Have your character react icly any way you want!
- Post and tag around!

Attention! As loathsome as it is to admit this, I appear to be stranded on this overly moist macrocosm like the rest of you. The accommodations I've found myself in are abhorrent, frankly, and I refuse to live like a deckswab. As such, I'm taking it upon myself to begin searching for more appropriate facilities so that I might continue my work. If anyone out there knows of any...let's say...recently vacated warehouses or factories...or, better yet, an island that I may lay claim to as my own, I can repay you with the knowledge that you've helped secure the great Dr. Ivo Robotnik a place where he can properly work. For the betterment of...everyone.

Oh, and if there's anyone out there versed in this "magitech" I keep hearing about, make yourself known! I'll have you disclose your findings so that I might better ascertain the nature of this technological power. Better yet, if you have anything worth disassembling, bring it to me.

AHOY! HELP WANTED. THINK YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO BE THE FACE OF ESCORDVI’S VERY FIRST ADVENT CALENDAR? POST YOUR GLAMOROUS PICTURES TODAY. POST THEM NOW!

A group of collaborators is looking to put together Escordvi’s very first annual advent calendar. For its inaugural year, they want to compile a collection of pictures of beautiful riftfarers to represent each month. These pictures can range anywhere from beauty shots, to thirsty body shots, to tasteful fashion poses. Anything goes!

Have your character post their own (or their friends, enemies, boyfriends, girlfriends, dogs) photos to this network post. NPCS can also be used to post photos. Then feel free to comment around on the photos with which month or season you think would suit them best. Or just comment about how much you like the photos. Who’s hot? Who’s not? Or about how horrified you are that someone posted yours! Any and all feedback is needed so they can create the best calendar ever!

At the end of the month, an advent calendar for 2025 will be created! If there are enough submissions, there will be multiple calendars so don't be shy or think you'll be left out! For ease of use, the calendar has been broken down into the four seasons so that multiple themed shots can be posted. Get posting!

[ Another video by Emet-Selch, but this one is purposeful. The video shows a brand new ship in the dock of the Adamantine Forge. Unlike the first, this one has been built to accommodate its magitech engine from the very beginning. While it mostly resembles a sailing ship, it has elements of more advanced ship design to it: more metal joints and fixtures than usual towards the base where the engine sits, and a sail with the ability to drawn in latent aether and keep the ship powered.

On its side is its name painted boldly: THE ENTERPRISE.

There's a large turn-out for this launch. More than the test-run of its prototype. All the people who worked to build this thing in such a short time, the investor who funded the project, and whoever else decided to sticky-beak when they saw the commotion - it would be difficult for the shellphone to capture if it wasn't somehow floating above the crowd.

And it IS certainly floating on its own: because Emet-Selch is at the rear of the ship to officially send it off into the open sea. For once, the elder mage actually looks every inch a dignitary as he speaks into a hovering, magical orb which magnifies the volume of his voice to those listening. ]

Thank you all for coming together to celebrate the launch of The Enterprise. 'Twas truly a magnificent effort from all of our artisans and engineers over the past few moons. Today marks what I hope will be a significant leap forward in the field of magitech development and research. I won't bore you with some grandiose speech about dreams or aspirations - I shall simply say that anything is possible when like-minded individuals work together. I hope those of you who choose to remain affiliated with the Forge - and even those of you who do not - keep that ethos in your hearts.

[ With that, he waves the orb away. Because this ship can sail under its own power, what better way to demonstrate its prowess than to eschew the traditional bottle shattering and let it start on its own? Emet-Selch raises a finger and shoots magical sparks into the air, which is the signal for the captain and his crew to set sail.

There are cheers as the magitech engine quietly roars into life. The ship slowly eases out of the dock into the open ocean, crew members waving to those left on dry land. For those physically present, The Enterprise will sail around Eltrut before making its way to Atnam, where its new home will be with RAY, the free traders.

The video, however, ends once the ship is out of sight. ]

Greetings, one and all.

I and Rem Tokimiya of the Raiders of the Lost Arts are seeking engineers to assist with the development of an engine. 'Tis past time we made a concerted effort to develop one. Inevitable, I would say, as this world has progressed to magical trinkets. We have examined schematics of an old pirate ship and seek to eventually put it to practical use to improve the fleets of both paladins and corsairs.

[ He pauses. It looks as though he wants to add something but he seems to think better of it. ]

Send word to either myself or Rem if you are interested in contributing to the work. While an engine capable of powering a ship is our eventual goal, 'twill be enough to make something on a smaller scale for now - such as heaters for winter or automatic fans for summer.

[ So, there was this guy in a three-piece suit serving up some cunt judging by the cleavage he just lets hang out of his open blouse and jacket. He didn't seem to pay it any mind as he reclined in a wooden seat in some outside space--it looked like the front porch space of a general store, judging by the foot traffic going past him.

He held up the green vial and gave it a little shake on screen, then tucked it back into a formed pouch and kept at his side. No way in hell he was gonna keep that bottle on his person, not after the shit he'd seen the Science Department cook up back in his home world. ]

So, anyone else out there pay that farmer a visit for that weird fertilizer?

I was thinking about delivering some out to Rota since their farms got wiped out, but no news on if this stuff really works or if it wipes the soil. 'Course the farmer was gonna hype it up, so figured I'd ask before giving it a spin.

If no one else has and they've picked up some of those butterfly sensors already, hit me up. We'll see if they pick anything up when I use it on the ground. If no one's picked any up, I'll make a trip.

You know, there are a lot of awesome things about this place. You can have a crew, no one's trying to kill you just because of being different, all the new foods, getting to explore the world, having ample opportunity to use fish and sea puns... breaking things sometimes. [ The gorilla is counting on their fingers. ]

Really, I could go on and on about why I love this world. [ It sounds like there's a- ]

But! You know what really gets me? We can't adopt dragons! Sure, they say "dragons can't be tamed", or "they're just too wild". [ Cue the quotation marks and the eye roll. ] But all I want in this life is a tiny pink mini-me dragon. Who better to try and be a dragon parent than someone who's also a dragon? At least a dragon on occasion.

Come on, you can't keep placing dragons in front of me and expect me to not want to adopt one of my very own! I am literally made to be a dragon parent, watch this!

[ The gorilla is setting up the phone to stand on its own, then steps back several feet before... with a little sparkle of pink magic - turns into a semi-large, equally pink dragon. It's holding out front arms like "ta-dah"! ]
