This is Alhaitham.

I have a survey that I would like people to fill. There are no restrictions or stipulations to the nature of the responder. The only request is for you to be honest when filling it up.

1) Are you currently in a romantic relationship or have been in one? (yes/no)
2) If yes, does your current or previous relationship involve sex? (yes/no)
3) List down 5 to 10 words that describe what your significant other (past or present) makes you feel.
4) What is your main priority when you are with your significant other (past or present)?
5) How do you measure or recognize your feelings as love? What separates them infatuation or sexual attraction? Describe in 100 words or less.

You are free to leave your answers in this post or direct them to my inbox. I will be following up on whatever answers I feel are necessary.

Yes

Comfort, Security, Grounded, Elated, Warm, Desirable, Valid, Nervous, Content, Companionship, and many more that a mere ten words cannot properly convey.

4) What is your main priority when you are with your significant other (past or present)?
We made a promise with one another. While I will not divulge the contents of that promise, it is my main priority when we are together. I ache to heal old wounds while creating new memories for the both of us to chersh.

5) How do you measure or recognize your feelings as love? What separates them infatuation or sexual attraction? Describe in 100 words or less.
It goes beyond mere sexual attraction and emotional attraction. There is a desire there to see them at their best and be a part of it. A joy and elation at simply being within their company. Then there are moments where you wish to be their rock, their anchor through the difficult times all while wanting to fix all that ails. You take inspiration from them while also striving to be a source of it yourself. As for when you recognize that it is love you feel, I think that differs for everyone. I also believe that the feelings of love can be different between different individuals.
