[ So, there was this guy in a three-piece suit serving up some cunt judging by the cleavage he just lets hang out of his open blouse and jacket. He didn't seem to pay it any mind as he reclined in a wooden seat in some outside space--it looked like the front porch space of a general store, judging by the foot traffic going past him.
He held up the green vial and gave it a little shake on screen, then tucked it back into a formed pouch and kept at his side. No way in hell he was gonna keep that bottle on his person, not after the shit he'd seen the Science Department cook up back in his home world. ]
So, anyone else out there pay that farmer a visit for that weird fertilizer?
I was thinking about delivering some out to Rota since their farms got wiped out, but no news on if this stuff really works or if it wipes the soil. 'Course the farmer was gonna hype it up, so figured I'd ask before giving it a spin.
If no one else has and they've picked up some of those butterfly sensors already, hit me up. We'll see if they pick anything up when I use it on the ground. If no one's picked any up, I'll make a trip.

[Thankfully, no strange green men popped up out of the ground when it was used on other plants than the brussel sprouts.]
You will need to obtain much greater amounts than the farmers were willing to part with for help in their fields.
no subject
Huh.
That's good--Any weird side-effects in the short-term aside from the exploding parts? I'm just waiting to hear about someone trying it on a person.
[ He sucked his teeth quickly and dismissively at the comment. ]
Yeah. There's no kinda guilds or anyone here that'd pay for it?
no subject
[He answered, equally dismissive. He had the vial he'd intended to get. It would be enough for someone on the Phantom Moon - Probably Turo, given his personal inclinations towards learning about flora and fauna - to study.]
This venerable one is certain their are people who would, but is uncertain the farmers have made enough to be of use on such a scale as is the damage to Rotagcroc. The supply seems to be the limitation.
[And perhaps the current phase of testing it, given that their brussel sprouts explode so easily.]
Do you intend to measure the energy of the plants it's used on?
[He's not really seeing the connection between the butterflies and the fertilizer.]
no subject
Yeah..shame if they can't, it'd be a game changer, yo.
But yeah, somethin' like that. What this shit consumes, what it burns off, how the plants change. Y'know.
[ Also if it was worth him holding onto it. ]

[It would be useful data to have for any testing that was done in the ship's lab.]

I'll start: I'm Reno.

[He answered, keeping to proper formality in the introductions.]
Most in this world have taken to calling this venerable one 'Dongfang'.
[It was not preferred, per se. But he had come to accept it and it no longer annoyed him half-so-much as it had at first.]
no subject
So is Dongfang what we're supposed to call you, or just what most people around here call you? Cause I heard all of that, but I'm not sure I can get it right.
[ If there's anything he knew about the ones with titles like that, is they didn't really like informalities. ]
no subject
You may address this venerable one as Moon Supreme.
[Those that balked at calling him that he did not understand. He was certain it would be easier to remember. But the mortals of this world had very strange ways and he wasn't even certain they were strange by mortal standards. He had not spent much time in the mortal realm and what time he had... that was a very long time ago. Mostly for purposes of conquering it.]

Gonna guess you're not human, so if you have any more questions besides what I get with these little butterflies here and you crew's busy, you're welcome to ring me up any time.
no subject
[The term many mortals used for themselves. No. Daqaing was not 'human' by any standard.]
You would be correct.
This venerable one wishes to know where you release them and what the results are. Nothing more is needed.
[His own attempt with them has gone... poorly. They absorbed so much ambient energy and he had so much energy in general that even when attempting to keep his contained, they filled up on it before he could release them anywhere for testing. It was good to know that despite his efforts, something could still sense his spiritual presence and qi. But it was frustrating that he couldn't see the results properly for himself.]
