Link is the most loyal, compassionate, and brave person I have ever known! We have known each other for many years now and cannot imagine how empty my life would be without him in it.

I suppose he doesn't really look the part, but Link is actually as knight of Hyrule! Let me see, I know I have I few pictures of him in his dress uniform.



These are from a celebration that was held in his honor to commemorate the first anniversary of the defeat of Calamity Ganon. Link does not enjoy being the center of attention, so he was less than thrilled with the whole affair, thus why he looks so put out in most of the pictures I took of him. But the food they served was heavenly, so all was forgiven in the end. (Link's affinity for food knows no bounds. He is also an excellent chef in his own right!)

Oh, he cuts a rather dashing figure!

He doesn't look any less the part than the Knights of Favonius, so I think he's quite stylish. He doesn't much seem to like the uniform, does he?

I do not believe he does. He did not mind it much in the days before the Calamity, but he has changed much since then. The uniform is actually a replica of the Royal Knights' dress uniforms, made from patterns salvaged from the ruins of the castle. The woman who sewed this uniform was moved to tears when she saw Link wearing it, so it was worth his discomfort in this end.

[ Also, seeing Link in it was so nostalgic it almost moved Zelda to tears. It felt like she was abruptly transported one hundred years back in time. ]

Calamity?

You've both been through a lot together, haven't you?

The Calamity caused the downfall of the Hyrule one hundred years ago. Link is the great hero who defeated the beast that caused it and saved the kingdom.

[ Just omits her own part in this. ]

We have, yes. Link has been by my side for many years now even though he is not duty-bound to protect me. We travel Hyrule together and try to help rebuild. Truthfully, I am at a loss without him here.

[ The Calamity is way too sad to subject a drunk person to (or anyone, really), so Zelda won't elaborate. ]

I hope so too. Just between us- [ and whoever else is reading this conversation. ] -I would not be upset if he were to fall through the rift as well.
