Never heard of either I'm afraid. As I've come to learn from speaking to others here, my world is bit farther back in history compared to those of more "modern" times.

Keep the magic but take away the magitech of this world, and that's more similar to mine in terms of technology.

Yep! Well, normal trains would use wheels. I think the Astral Express only uses them when they dock at ports. Most of the time we're warping through space so it's just the engine working its magic!

Or something like that. I'm not an engineer, I don't actually know how the Astral Express works.

Aye, I'd say so. I can't even begin to imagine how you are able to create such technology. The closest my world ever had were airships, but that technology was lost long before my time.

What is it like traveling up there? Are there are people on those planets?

Yeah, of course! There are people everywhere, on all sorts of planets, and all of them are different. It's a lot of fun.

If it weren't for this very world and the rifts, I would have thought such a thing impossible.

Are there any conflicts?

Yeah. There's always something happening on each planet. Like the one I was on before I got dragged here. Someone invited a bunch of factions to find the Watchmaker's Legacy, so there were a lot of people with hidden agendas doing their own thing. Had to fight a few of those people too.

As if worrying about neighboring countries isn't enough, you have to worry about other worlds as well.

What about the people? Just humans or are there other creatures like this world?

Mostly humans I think... At least of the places I've been to. Dunno about other planets.

[ Do Vidyadhara count as humans? Or Foxians, Pepeshi or Halovians?? They do right. She has no idea how they're categorized scientifically. Probably human, she thinks. ]

How long did it take for this space travel to develop? And is it all just engineering or is magic involved?

Good question... It happened hundreds of thousands of years ago so I have no idea how it was made. It's all science and engineering though.

[ Because they don't consider anything magic where Stelle comes from. Any and all phenomena are studied by the diligent scholars of the Intelligentsia Guild. If she were actually to describe it to Cid, he'd probably consider it magic. ]
