[He honestly wished he could have been surprised that someone had eaten them- taken bites and left them to continue wandering the island and- well. The insides that could be seen...
Turo was going over pictures he had taken on his phone, notebook open on his desk and kept observations written down. The insides were red, a darker shade of it, and didn't match the substance that the bugsnax appeared to be made of. Like biting into some fleshy and- why keep going? Did they not notice it because of simply finding out they were edible?
There were other pictures that matched, a tunnel lined with the same flesh-like color and... oversized 'foods' scattered about, even stretched out in wrong shapes.
He did look up from that.]
I understand, just as I understand someone's suggestion of burning the entire island down. There is more than enough proof of the danger eating these creatures can pose. Knowing what they are will hopefully combat the same fate falling those here as they did to those who made the carvings discovered. Those people did not know better, until it was too late.
[The worry, and even potential fear of something befalling someone cared for. Something that did look so harmless- and the chance with animals onboard now that wouldn't know better.]
Even then, it is difficult for me not to view them in a light of having some right to exist. I am grateful that you do allow them onboard at all with everything, even missing pieces to that Island.
