so everyone is supposed to get extra powers cuz of those "magic" tattoos, right? just wanna know how that works. how do people discover what their extra powers are? how would they train those powers to be stronger? askin for a friend.

While I am not experienced with using the tattoos to gain additional powers myself, I hear that it's entirely subjective. You might feel one way or another and your magic may manifest in a way that you subconsciously want for.

As for training magic... Practice always makes perfect.

It is difficult to explain it as well... Almost as though it would be like teaching someone how to breathe.

If you are interested in learning how to control the magic you gain, I can try to help you. Perhaps hands on lessons would be easier than trying to tell you here.

not really. not yet. joshua told me magic is subjective, and so it manifests differently for everyone. so i'm, like, wonderin how i'm supposed to trigger it.

maybe you just gotta really focus on what you wanna do? thats kinda how focusing energy works for me anyway.

ah its just energy from inside? ki. my brother is a lot better at explaining it but its how i can shoot blasts and stuff.

What kinda magic are ya' thinking of getting? The octopus guy does a lot of them in specific elements, so each one could have different methods of strengthening them.

If you also need someone to help with trainin' them, I'm always up for a good training sess.

a lot of you all wanna train with me, but i can't train until i get powered up. i still don't know how to do that. i didn't think i could choose my powers, i thought they just manifested somehow. i really don't know what options are available.

i just wanna be stronger.

It's not rocket science. [Yes yes, science and magic being used in the same context, he gets the irony.] There's a tattoo parlor in Eltrut where we got our tats.

The best way I went about is thinking of what best suited me. I went with light magic, to regain my control over my ki and get my strength and speed back. You just gotta think about what fits you. Fire, ice, water, plant, lightning, that's some of the types I've seen people use, if that helps gives any ideas.

With four hands, they'd make effective dispensers for electricity. That sounds wicked. I've been thinking of picking up an ice tattoo since that sounds useful to have, or water.
