So, I've noticed that there's some decorations that remind me of Halloween back home. Now, I only recently got here so I'm not sure but. I figured I should check what holidays, and other celebrations there are here. Just to try to be prepared?
Feel free to tell me about other celebrations back from your home too, I guess. Just curious.

Re: Text;
just saying that everywhere ive gone so far a lot of people seem to have some idea of what it is or heard about it
yeah setsubun! you can think of it like celebrating the coming of spring. it can vary around japan but the idea is to drive away evil and welcome in the new year

I'm just assuming this place probably has it's calendar and stuff but I figured to check about others. Could be interesting, could celebrate ourselves. Like this setsubun. Back home there's Lunar New Year which I guess is similar in being at a different time of year than the 31st Dec/1st of Jan. Usually around February or so.
