Warnings: Robot is playing shooty game so violent imagery and mention of guns, I guess?
(The shellphone has been set down on a shelf or table or something out of the way and forgotten. They are not familiar with this form of technology, and are not currently aware that it is broadcasting.
The tiny residence on Elah is, well, a tiny residence on Elah. Legion has done nothing at this point to personalize the starter apartment they've been given, and the only sign that anyone is living there at all is that Legion is standing in it.
Considering that Legion is a six and a half foot tall alien robot, this is probably a pretty jarring sight. They're not really looking at or paying attention to the shellphone though. Instead, they're looking at their arm, which seems to be surrounded by a strange orange glow and projecting a holographic screen, and is that...?
Yeah, that's a videogame. Shooter, from the sounds of it. The alien robot is 100% playing the alien robot version of Call of Duty on their weird arm thing. They seem pretty into it too, with all the chittering and mechanical noises they're making.)

video; un: halfdog
Hey. [ He begins, peering closer into the shellphone to try and get a better look at what was happening. It did look... like fun... ]
Hey! [ He calls out again when there wasn't a response the first time. He's curious!! ]
What's going on over there!?
no subject
The voice, they can tell, is coming from a speaker, but where...
They come over and pick up the device.)
We apologize: This broadcast was unintentional. We are playing a videogame.

[ Inuyasha attempts to stick his face as close as possible to the shellphone, sniffing at it. He doesn’t smell another person… creature? Whatever it was. But it’s not like he could smell the first thing at all.
Regardless, he’s still curious even as the light flickers, ears flickering with attention. ]
Video game? Oooh yeah, I’ve seen those before.
But where’s the weird looking glowing box? Thought you needed one of those to play.
no subject
(Sorry Inuyasha, alien robot is alien and confusing even for people who are familiar with technology!
Their headflaps shift, raise.)
You are referring to a monitor? This unit does not require one: our omnitool is capable of projection. (Both holographic projection and regular projection. It's very versatile. And built into their arm!)
no subject
His face scrunches with further confusion, brows narrowing. ] Omni... what? Whatever.
You're saying your arm let's you play video games— is that it?
no subject
(Sorry Inuyasha. At least this answer is simple?)
no subject
[ If Legion was going to be blunt, then so was he. ]
no subject
They do not see any reason to refuse.)
no subject
Staring blankly at those coordinates. ]
Huh? The hell is this? What's all these numbers for?
no subject
(They consider this.)
We are currently located in (they name a district/general area on Elah.)
video > action
[ Or... a little more than a second. He's still trying to navigate his way through Elah, but after jumping from rooftop to rooftop, he'll eventually make it... to the relative area.
So when he feels like he's close enough Inuyasha will just... stand there with his arms crossed, eyes peering around. ]
Helloooo?
no subject
Now that they've know someone is coming they'll be waiting near the door.
At the sound of the voice, they look up.)
Greetings.

Though built into our arm, external operation of the Omni-Tool is possible.
(Legion, why would you say that, now people are going to want to use your arm to play videogames!)
no subject
[Yeah probably, but right now (and only for now) is she a little too shy to just be like 'omw to play some games'.. but perhaps eventually.]
But that's neat. I only see that sort of thing IN video games so you gotta be from the future.
no subject
(They have several games.)
Query: Current year in your world of origin?
no subject
[Now that she realizes it, just going "you got any games on your arm?" was probably kind of rude?]
Unless you have another way to do that I mean. I don't wanna like, invade your space, you know? And I'm from 2017, our tech is definitely not that sophisticated yet.
no subject
(The behavior of organics toward them is highly unusual. Perhaps this is a way through which they can gain allies.
Note the word occasional, though.)
no subject
I wouldn't... try for more than occasional, but I don't have my own rig here to play stuff. If i get it back, wonder if you can download stuff that I have if it interests you? Dunno if it would, but I mean, the offer would be there.
[Plenty of VNs and regular games on her laptop! But that's back in Reverein still.]
...but I wonder if the inverse could happen? Get your games on my laptop, so I don't have to use your arm or you as a projection.
no subject
(On both counts, though they're uncertain whether her laptop would be able to hold their games.)
Storage capacity of your device?
no subject
[Wait... that's a loaded question, that makes it sound like they're pretty big, so...]
Uhh... maybe laptop and an external drive, then, I don't wanna go overboard. How big are these games...?
no subject
Fleet and Flotilla is approximately 40GB... (And well, that's just a dating sim. The other games are much more immersive and complex, and have file sizes that probably hit close to the TB range, or larger.
Yeah this is a tall order for a regular laptop. It might still be feasible?)
video; un: nutsornothing HOW DID I MISS THIS.
YO! Is that a video game!?! That looks so badass I've missed playing them so much dude!!
no subject
Affirmative. This function is built into our hardware.
(Their omnitool is literally a part of them.)
no subject
UNREAL!! CAN OTHER PEOPLE PLAY OR JUST YOU!?!
no subject
(So like, yeah, but you'd literally have to use their arm as a console, Denji.)
no subject
[Grinning wide as a burst of laughter erupts deep within his chest. Denji is just super excited at the prospect of getting to play video games again after a long stint of being deprived.]
What other kinda games you got on that thing anyways?! I love me some shooters but do you got any fighting games too!?
no subject
(They are assuming this is a standard model Human child. They have no idea about the chainsaws.)
Negative. Our game collection is composed of: Grim Terminus Alliance, Geth Attack: Eden Prime Fundraising Edition, N7 Code of Honor: Medal of Duty, Fleet and Flotilla: Interactive Cross-Species Dating Simulator, and Galaxy of Fantasy, though without extranet access the latter cannot be played. We also posess the suite of games common to all Omni-Tool installations.
(No fighting games, though they are now curious about them.
Just watch: if they ever get videogames from home it'll be "Immortal Combat" or some equally obviously named equivalent to a popular modern world fighting game.)
no subject
[Color him curious he wants to give them all a whirl besides maybe the dating simulator he was more into the real deal since you couldn't have sex with some virtual reality babe. Maybe it would make for some good jerk off material but if he couldn't play it alone without this robot being there that would just be all sorts of weird.]
So when can I try them out!?
no subject
(How about right now, Denji? Might as well.)
no subject
[Raising closed fists high in the sky jumping up and down with joy getting hyped up at the prospect of playing a video game after so long again.]
Name the place I'll be there dude!!
