I don't remember much about my mom she died when I was real young from a heart condition but at least she wasn't around to see how big of a prick my dad turned out to be. He was a real piece of crap all my life until he crooked and left me with his problems too.

[Denji wasn't about to tell the masses what actually happened to his father after finding out none too recently but that was besides the point here. A half amused burst of laughter erupts as he tries to lighten the mood a bit grinning fiendishly.]

I can't be the only one around here with an asshole for a parent so what's all your stories?

[Denji had dealt with his father being a piece of shit his whole life up until the point of his untimely demise. When Nimona suggests Zack becoming his new father figure he sorta blinks wide eyed before laughing hysterically with a shake of his head.]

Zack my dad!? Nah- He's always been more of a big bro to me if anything! I wouldn't want to talk to my dad about sex and stuff like we have that'd be super weird, right?

[ This is her suggestion to deal with it. When he laughs at the idea of thinking of Zack as his dad, she just shrugs. ]

Truthfully, I think talking to anybody about sex and stuff like is all super weird. But don't some people have parents they can talk to about anything?

[When Nimona mentions the fact that talking about sex and stuff was 'weird' it causes his nose to scrunch up with a look of confusion.]

No idea; My dad would barely talk to me in general and it was usually just to grab him a beer from the fridge before telling me to screw off.

[ That kind of relationship just isn't in Nimona's wheelhouse, honestly. It's there. It's a thing that happens. It's used to make offspring. ]

I had nowhere else to go...I was way younger than I am now too even though it happened anyways.
