[Standing upon the water's edge of Eltrut's beach, Denji can be found skipping rocks into the depths of the ocean proper. His focus on the crashing waves with his bare feet absorbed by the rushing waters, a stoic expression washed over his features as he sighs solemnly.]
 

So who else had shitty parents growing up, huh?
 

[A small pause before tossing another rock into the sea, plopping himself down onto the ground before turning his full attention towards the feed.]
 

I don't remember much about my mom she died when I was real young from a heart condition but at least she wasn't around to see how big of a prick my dad turned out to be. He was a real piece of crap all my life until he crooked and left me with his problems too. 
 

[Denji wasn't about to tell the masses what actually happened to his father after finding out none too recently but that was besides the point here. A half amused burst of laughter erupts as he tries to lighten the mood a bit grinning fiendishly.]
 

I can't be the only one around here with an asshole for a parent so what's all your stories?

[Denji's gaze returns to the feed with an awestruck look in his eyes, jaw slack as for a moment until it eventually shifts into a forced smile. Nodding subtly in response to the unexpected offer the teenager chuckles modestly under his breath.]

[Truth be told, this was an impulsive thing to do. He did it as a way for him to be more forward and allow himself the chance to open up to others. Now that he finally got the chance?]

[It doesn't take him long to think of an answer to that one.]

I like eating all different types of food and kicking ass every now and then to make some cash on the side! What about you man?

Uh...I like to go diving? And read fairy tales sometimes. I know it isn't much but that's what I like to do.

Diving? That sounds pretty cool I've never done that before! Can ya teach me?!

Uh....sure? Although, you need to be prepared since your body might not be used to the pressure of the water.

[Pause]

It's very different from uh....fighting demons.

[Denji waves a hand towards the feed with a toothy grin.]

Pssh that's no problem you're talking to a guy who's survived having all his limbs blown off what's a little water pressure gonna do!?

[He said before feeling slightly embarrassed about saying it.]

Then when do you want me to teach you?

[Flashing his signature peace sign towards the feed with an excitable grin.]

Uh...I guess we can do it in two days? I think the weather should be perfect for a dive if you're willing.
