{He has spoken to some about this...issue...however it is only after searching that he realizes he must ask for help. This is difficult for Sesshomaru. Imagine, if you will, that he takes a deep breath before recording.}

My usual method for acquiring nourishment... {i.e. eating.} ...is not possible. I do not have a palate for human food nor does it do me any good. I can survive for some time without sustenance, but not forever.

{He should share what he eats, shouldn't he?}

I'm afraid I wouldn't know if there are any demons here that would be considered okay to hunt for such a thing... have you experimented before with any magical means that might be able to help you in this case? Like say, using alchemy to brew a potion that would be able to work as a substitute for demon energy to satiate your hunger?

I have not. Tell me your ideas. {He is hesitant, but also hungry.}

Depending on the ingredients used, or even from studying your own essence as a demon--as I am making the assumption that is what you are and have to feed off of other demons, and if I am wrong, please correct me--there may be a method to create or at least simulate the same kind of energy as a source of nutrition, much like how people on diets manage to find substitutions for acquiring the energy they need without resorting to eating the food that they are supposed to be refraining from for that diet.

[Like the kind of potions he has for himself to maintain a human form, which also helps make it easier to consume and digest some meals that normally don't exist in the ocean...]

I do not wish to be studied. {But he can give the other a taste, he supposes.} Find a way to capture some of my energy and we will discuss this further.

I was capable of great power before I arrived. {So...yes. But his abilities aren't something he would call "magic".} I am a pure demon.

Well, if there was some way for you to use your power in front of me--even just a minor spell or the like, I could examine your magic signature and come up with possible solutions. It won't require studying anything to do with you in a physical manner.

Very well. {He draws Bakusaiga, his fang, and raises it. The fang is coated in his power, drawing it straight from his core. When Sesshomaru cuts downward through the air, that power explodes out, demolishing a large rock and tree.}

[That's... certainly one way to do it. Azul very quickly pulls his magipen and some paper closer to him where he's sitting here and very quickly jogs down a few notes based on his observations of the swing of the other's sword and the power that he had been able to see exploding off of it as he speaks.]

Normally, I would have a better read on your signature if this was an in person demonstration, but it seems that may pose a few risks in this particular case. Instead, I'll try going over the recording of our conversation here a few times and try to gauge a potion to start with brewing, and then should it need improvements we can discuss further what needs to be done...

No, that's not it. I just have to be careful to not break my magestone from attempting to measure and gauge certain energy signatures that might be too strong and overload the poor thing.

For example, one of my classmates back home is an extremely powerful mage. His own magical energy is strong enough that it's honestly rather risky to stand in close proximity when he's casting spells sometimes.
