[ The video feed comes on to show Nimona, who some people may have noticed was missing for about three days. She looks fine and is smiling, and it looks to be a genuine one. ]

Wow wow wow. Going home is soooooo weird. Like I'd heard people forget all about this place, but experiencing it myself is a whole different thing. One minute I was here, and the next I'd forgotten a whole year and some change of my life.

[ Nimona flops back on a giant manta ray plushie. ]

It was a real wild ride being there. First I turned into a giant shadow dragon, again, and I get saved. Then this crazy lady turned a huge laser cannon on the center of the kingdom just to kill li'l ol' me. [ Cue the innocent expression. ] She was gonna kill so many people just to take me out.

[ She flips over on to her stomach, bringing her shellphone with her to set down. ]

Joke's on her! I turned into a huge fiery bird, flew across the kingdom and BAAAAM! [ Nimona makes one hand fly and smash against her other hand in a loud slap. ] Slammed into the fully charged cannon with my whole body and BOOOOOOOM! [ Both hands fly apart to mimic an explosion, complete with sound effects. ] We exploded! It was epic! She died, I died, and I don't think anyone else died.

[ Nimona jumps up onto her feet, raising a fist above her head in a victory pose. ]

Then I rose like a phoenix from the ashes! Now I'm back here.

[ She picks up the phone again to bring it close to her face. ]

And that's the story!

Yep! I was just doing my normal stuff I always do during the day. Hmmmmm, I think I was half-asleep up in the crow's nest of my ship.

[ She flops to sit back down on her plushie. ]

Maybe there was just a rift up there and we boated through it.

[ She wrinkles her nose at the screen. ]

[Blinking at her.] Like a badger, maybe.

Nope, just seemed normal to me. Zack and Tifa did their morning drills with the crew that I totally didn't sleep through, watered Aerith's plants, had breakfast, trained with my super strong Warrior cat, and then took my usual place to watch out for interesting things on our journey.

[Well he was going to comment on the return home thing but--]

[ She totally hurt someone in her shadow dragon form back home. And another one died! ]

Oooooh. [ Then waves a hand like it's no big deal. ] What's a little death? I came right back! Or maybe it took a bit, ah well, hard to say when you're dead.

An invisible surprise magic door! You don't even see it coming.

Never underestimate the effectiveness of a good fiery explosion

[Did any of that story strike a particular cord? Axel will never tell! Just as these sentiments are probably best left to people who aren't consistently smothered under a blanket of apathy. Nevertheless.]

Oh man, it was metal! Our combined firepower took out a whole section of the wall surrounding the kingdom. I wish I had video of it.

[ She's gonna also skip right over the big glaring death to talk about something else. ]

This place loves me. I bet it was quiet while I was gone. Too quiet. Eerily quiet. Now I'm gonna live here such a long time that even the world gets sick of me.

Wait, what? You.....what?!

[Nimona??? Please do not be so casual about dying? Are you really okay?????]

I'm... glad to hear that you did not stay dead? Otherwise, do you remember anything at all about how you were able to return home? Or... actually, when you found yourself back here again, did you find yourself back in the spot that you were previously in, or were you in a different location here?

[Someone told him once about having returned home, but that person is not here anymore, so Nimona is his next best lead to get more deets on about the subject.]
