I'd be surprised if they often bury the dead here, what with all the water.

And I don't tend to know much more than the living.

Hmm... I guess it'd depend on the dominant religion. I grew up on a lagoon, and we had an island dedicated to being a cemetery. Well, two. A Christian one and a Jewish one.

[She makes an audible shrug.] There may be places on Elah, with the paladins. But sea burial is likely to be common here, as the underworld is in a jellyfish.

[a sentence she has to say in all seriousness on a bright weekday morning.]

Who's the god of the underworld here? Is the jellyfish just the location or the god as well? Are they just the god of the underworld, or are they the god of death too?

As it stands, there is a leviathan that serves as the resting place of the dead. Though who can say when we will cross paths with it again.

Really.

[She pauses, and ticks her fingers off.] The underworld is contained within the jellyfish. There was a...Envoy, but he does not seem to rule over the processes so much as make sure they continue unimpeded. I don't know when we'll encounter them again.

If you need to find the native dead, I can help, but I don't know how long they linger here. When I came here, it was their festival, so it was easier.

I would think it would be to talk to them.

no. the dead arent scary unless they were in life
mostly they r just sad and like the chance to talk to some1 not also dead.

...I never attempted to talk to the dead before but I wouldn't mind talking to them. Especially if they just want someone to talk to.

You nver talked to a grave? they listen sometimes.

being alive is always better than bing dead. sure you can go to Esylium and thats paradise and a party but its stoic.

Sometimes I do but I never really thought that my brothers and sisters would respond back.

they dont change. well mostly. if they do its slow.
living is dyanamik it changes you quickly as opposed to being dead. its like being immortal

mostly they complin a lot about it. a lot of '"back in my day we fed the dead bird innerids and they liked it!!"

like i didnt summon them with a cheesburger and they liked it.

I suppose it's similar to what my Father would say.

While she understands why children act the way they do, she still has trouble understanding why.
