{He is perched and dripping wet on the deck of a ship, his back bowed as if he is catching his breath. Bakusaiga is glowing in his hand, its surface coated in...is that flesh? Sesshomaru rises to his full height and stares at his opponent sharply, the talons on his non-dominant hand glowing green.}
Those wishing to see the sacabambapsis fish must do so now. They will not last the night.
{If he has any say about it. The ship groans, rocking to the side as the giant creature tries to get a taste. Sesshomaru huffs and launches himself into the air, everything a blur of motion as he attacks again.
And again. And again. This might not be pleasant to watch. Especially when the fish bites at him and flings him into the water.
Yet he rises again to the challenge, unrelenting.}

a friendher! Gritting his teeth, claws glowing a poisonous green, he looks back just in time to be knocked across the deck by a fin.There is already blood on his hakama pants from a nasty bite into his thigh. Of course it won't stop him.}
Later. {He growls and leaps forward to protect her vessel from the thrashing beast.}
HA! He said friend! She wins.
She swears she's a better fighter than this.When the rocking subsides, she stables herself on the bow. She frowns slightly at his injury as he tries to brush her off with a 'later'.]
Stubborn fool.
[She mutters to herself as she lifted a hand. The same blue-green magic he saw when she summoned the feast swirled around her palms. With a flick of a wrist, the same aura danced around his opened wound sealing it with a flash of twinkling lights. Then before he could say anything she waved her hands again as she readied a different spell. This time however, its light gleamed gold with radiant energy as they were both ringed with a floating golden square chain. It faintly glowed, orbiting him in a slow lazy motion at waist level. Something about it made him feel stronger, more resilient, feeling connected to her.
Pulling out her sword and shield, Koh took a defensive stance as she called to him.]
Its a bonding spell. My strength is yours. Should make you hard to hit and hurt less if you do. I'll back you up so give it hell.

I am not the one in armor...in a small boat!
{He knocks a fin to the side, slicing at it with Bakusaiga. He lands again on her vessel, flicking his pale hair out of his eyes. The magic is noticed - but he trusts her enough to not dodge it, at least. The golden glow is distracting and then he is...warm. Like he isn't soaking wet in cold water.
There is also...strength. Arching a brow at her, he asks roughly:}
What does this mean for you? {If he dies, does she die too?}

You said to arm up, didn't you? What did you think I'd show up in?
[Turning her attention to the spell that connects them, she lowers her gaze to stare at the glowing ring.]
It means we're in this together. If you get hurt, I'll shoulder some of the pain. [She flashes him a smirk as she spins her sword in her hand.] So you better not get hit.
N is for anywhere and anytime at all!
{Growling, he grabs her around the waist and hauls her into the larger ship. There. Safer. For now.
Then he launches another attack on the thrashing fish.}
Down here in the deep blue sea!
Don't touch the water! I have an idea.
[Koh called out to him as she raised her sword. Blue sparks licked up the blade as a runic magic sigil appeared on the water's surface.]
Try to kite the beast into the runes. I charged it with lightening magic. But please be careful not to touch it or you'll get caught in the blast.
F is for frolick through all the flowers~
And it's not the first time she has aided him.Words are difficult for him, however - or, rather, he sees no point for them. So. Actions first. Explanations later. Maybe.}Very well.
{Lightning magic? Sesshomaru nods and leaps from the ship to the creature's back. He drives his fang into the fish's back, waiting for the creature to thrash towards those runes. At the last moment, he will leap back to the ship, grabbing onto the edge with his talons.}
U if for ukulele~
Seeing their plan work, Koh let's out an excited laugh as she beams. Man, it feels good to fight as a team again.]
Haha! Perfect! Looks like it didn't like that very much. You think you can do that again?
[She smirks as she raised her sword again, ready to summon another ward.]
N is for nose picking, sharing gum and sand licking~
With a growling bark, he leaps onto the air, running as if there is a secret path. Once he is near the fish, he herds the creature back into the runes with claws and bites.}
Ha ha ha ha ha~
Seeing him change form took her by surprise as he nearly took up the whole of the ship. He did say he was a dog demon but this wasn't exactly what she was picturing. What was she imagining? Honestly, she didn't even know. Something cuter maybe??
Once again, as the monsterious fish breached the runes, more lightening engulfed the poor creature. Violently it's body turned the water as it struggled creating waves the rocked the large vessel the drow was on. Koh had to turn her sword around to dig its blade into the wooden planks to brace herself. As the magic died, the sea beast sunk below the surface.
Raising her head, she peered over the railing.]
Is it dead?

He lowers his head to the water and sniffs. His nose wrinkles and he leaps back onto the ship with a sharp bark. Giving himself a shake, fur standing on end, the ship rocking, he dries himself...somewhat...before he changes back into his more human form.}
It's dead. {Sesshomaru walks to her side.} Remove the spell.

She was not going to chuckle, she was not going to chuckle....Surpressing the urge to chortle at the sight of the giant noble demon shake himself dry like a common house pet, a tight grin took its place.Getting at all clear, the cleric freed her blade from the deck to slide it back into its sheath. Koh beams at him as he approached.]
Not too shabby. We make a good team, don't you think? [But her expression whithers as she sheepishly grins, glancing down at the golden ring that surrounded them both.] Soooo... about this warding spell... I can't. It will go away on its own when I trance tonight.

...trance...? {What does that include? Why does it have to happen at night?} Then I will stay close.
{He won't let anything bad happen to her in the meantime.}

Can't stop, won't stop.]Oh, I thought I mentioned it when we first met. [The drow's eyes blinked.] My kind don't sleep. We go into what is called a trance, which is basically a semiconscious meditative state. So when I rest tonight, the spell will release.
[Wait... excuse me? 'Stay close' to her? What does that mean?
If any one needed a babysitter, it was him.At that Koh reached back to mount her shield in place so she could cross her arms over her chest and gave him a questioning brow.]Uh... Why exactly are you wanting to stay close? Not that I mind the company. I would be more than happy to spend more time together in a social setting.

We are connected until that time. You said it yourself - my pain is yours and, I presume, yours is mine. It would be a bother if something befell you and help didn't arrive in time.

All spells have different components. Some will happen right away, others have a set time they last. Or some will last as long as the caster remains concentrated on the spell. The one I cast is a more permanent spell that will only dispatch once I go to 'sleep'. The glyphs I casted are also the same. If they remained undisputed, they would have lasted until then as well.
[Another slow blink as she looks Sesshomaru over.]
What trouble do you think I'll find myself in? Remind me, who exactly saved who a moment ago?
