What else do you wish to know then about light and darkness? Its effects on the body?

Yes. We are also interested in learning of their uses against local hazards.

(They've seen some stuff suggesting a lot of things are weak to light. Though combat use is of secondary concern--they are already capable in this regard--this advantage remains worth exploring.)

Well, I COULD wax on and on about the effects of light and dark upon living and non-living things but truthfully 'tis only bound by your own imagination. Even without my saying so you were able to extrapolate effects based on my initial explanation. Now, if there were instead a specific problem you wished for help in solving then I could certainly advise you.

Our primary interest is in local fauna and sapient organics capable of magic. We already possess sufficient capacity to combat non-magical organic threats.

(They have considerable combat experience, advanced weaponry, and strength greater than that of most humans. Additionally, their platform is armored.

...Still, they do not, in fact, know much about how to fight magic.)
