[The video fed flickers on to an image of a lone drow sitting alone in small dimly lit room. Once she realizes that she was live, Koh offer a small welcoming wave.]

Good evening, everyone. Its me again, Koh, for those of you who don't know who I am.

I might have an odd question to ask. I am still learning my way around here, but from what I have seen, this place is primarily covered in an ocean. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a nice, safe woodland grove anywhere?

If my observations are correct, there is a full moon coming soon. I got to talking with some people about a tradition my faith has called the Circle of Song. Customarily it starts with a moon lit hunt where after we hold a feast in celebration. There's also music and a bonfire we all dance and sing around. Though I'm not looking to go that traditional. That is... unless others would be interested in joining? You don't have to be a follower of Eilistraee to take part. In fact, its even encouraged for those outside the temple to share in the festivities.

Only if you want to, of course. Thought I would extend the offer to those curious. Up until now its just me dancing alone in the middle of the night so having a bit company would be nice.

[She shook her head, getting herself back on track of her main purpose.]

So... as I said, I would appreciate any suggestions of a good spot. Thank you all for humoring me.

[He has a habit of listening to shit on the network when people post voice/video. He knows his texts are incomprehensible, and he doesn't like reading overmuch, so he usually ignores those, but letting people talk is a good way to learn, which despite how stupid he comes across Blitzø does actually enjoy doing on occasion.]

[It's the bit about the full moon, later followed by her mention of dancing alone that makes him pause and tap the video function on his own shellphone. His expression is a little flat where he's looking at the thing.] Dunno about a woodland grove-- geography here's all kinds of whack from what I'm used to. I'm an assassin for hire at home, though-- I can come on through wherever you decide to do your thing and play bodyguard. Not a religion guy, [He gestures to himself, tail flicking behind him.] Obviously, but doesn't mean you shouldn't get to do shit for yours.

[Now this was a new face she didn't recognize. Excuse the cleric's delayed response as she looked over fed. Clearly he was not from her world solely based on his appearance. Red skin and those horns... a demon or fiend of some kind? No. She wasn't going to hazard a guess. Last time she tried she ended up being wrong.

Placing her curiosity aside, she gives him a faint smile.]

A bodyguard? You think I will run into trouble dancing in the middle of the woods? [The drow laughs a bit at that.] But as I said, you don't have to be a follower of the Dark Maiden to take part. It just holds special meaning to those that are, such as myself. The main goal is to spread joy to others.

[He's used to getting weird looks, it doesn't even phase him. Demon would be directly on the money, though-- he's realized he's fairly stereotypical to most visual concepts.]

[He shrugs.] You're the one who specified you wanted a save grove. Bodyguard would ensure that, yeah?

[She chuckled softly.]

How can I argue with that logic? By all means, if you wish to accompany me I wouldn't mind, Sir...?

[She trails off giving him a questioning look.]

[He shrugs his shoulders, and then tosses a hand toward the screen.] Oh, shit, forgot that's a little important. Nice to meet you-- Koh, you said? I'm Blitzø, the o is silent. At your service, for the purpose of bodyguarding while... I dunno, you do your thing in the woods I guess.

[The cleric chuckled softly to herself. A part of her wanted to reassure him that she could handle herself, but the other half was touched by his offer. Besides, the more the merrier?]

That's correct. My full name is actually 'Kolnatha' but no one calls me that unless I'm in trouble. [A beat as she give him a small smile.] It is nice to meet you, Blitz. I would more appreciative if you decided to tag along. Never know what might be lurking in the woods.

[He wouldn't doubt her ability to handle herself, he simply needs something to occupy his evening so he isn't anxiously pacing in his bird's living room.]

[He laughs at the notion of a full name being for when you're in trouble.] It's like that with my daughter. Her name is Loona, but I'm always nicknaming her unless she's in trouble. But she's perfect, so she's never in trouble, of course. [He will take any excuse to talk about his kid, okay. God he misses that hound.]

[He makes his hands into finger guns at the screen.] You got it, Koh. Gimme a holler when you're headed that way.

[~~Her lips were sealed.~~]

You have a daughter? [Her tone curious.] Loona, that's a lovely name. I feel that giving nicknames to others is a sign of affection. There is nothing wrong with that.

[Koh chuckles again, nodding her head.]

I will be sure to do so. I have a lead on a forest to check out, so that's progress. You... won't like hunting, would you?

If it's woods... Eltrut has some decent wooded areas that are safe, especially when you go deeper in.

Elrut...

[She repeats to herself thoughtfully.]

That`s the large turtle leviathan, correct? My housing is on the giant bone one... Nogard, I think. So I'm more familiar with my home base.

[A slight nod.]

Correct. It's neutral territory so you shouldn't have any issues getting to it. But if you're on Nogard...

[...Hmmmmmm.]

Because of how Nogard works, while there are some wooded areas on the leviathan, it mostly depends on where it settles. It should be reaching Ocard soon, and from what I remember it has forests, but I'm not sure how safe it would be. We might be there during the full moon, so you may be able to find others who would be interested in joining your tradition, too.

With only me being here a short time, I have noticed Nogard likes to wander.

[She says with a half chuckle.]

Ocard you say? [Again she repeats, trying to commit the name to memory.] I will have to look around when we arrive then. I doubt it will be any less safe from what I'm used to back home. Unless the place is crawling with monsters.

[A beat as she thinks.]

You wouldn't want to join, would you?

[...Ah. He had a feeling she would ask.]

While I could help you find a suitable spot, I will have to decline participating beyond that.

[Just not much of a social gathering kind of guy...with dancing... But who knows what fate will say.]

[Hey, can you blame a cleric for trying? She bows her head with a small acknowledging nod.]

Haha, that's alright. I thought it was only good manners to extend the offer. I haven't celebrated a proper Circle of Song since I set out on my own, so the prospect of not being alone has gotten me a little excited.

But I do thank you for your suggestion. You seem to be knowable about this world. Have you been here long?

[Don't lose out hope, a certain someone just has to catch wind of this and he could probably be dragged in—]

[Weird to think about still at times.]

I can't say I know everything, but I know enough.

But excuse the wide eyed stare he received as he told her how long he has been stuck here. She knew that she would be staying her for awhile, but the thought of being away for possible years rattled her.]

[He's not so surprised by her reaction, and he feels a little sorry about bringing that kind of potential reality. But he just shakes his head a little.]

Not really.

[Which could sound sad, but he's not bothered by it.]

My team and friends can handle themselves well, and my dog came along with me when I first arrived... At least at the time I was brought here, there weren't any pressing matters, either.

[Koh's brows furrowed as she continued to dwell on her own situation. The matters she left behind weren't pressing but they were important. Having to delay her search even longer has a hard pill to swallow. But the cleric forced a smile back.]

You have a dog? That must be nice, not being here alone. Though with you being here for so long, I am sure you have made new friends.

[Although he notices the slight tension, he won't say anything—if anything he can guess what might be on her mind. Not everyone had the fortune of coming in without anything pressing back in their world, and he really was fortunate that he wasn't pulled in a year or so prior.]

I wouldn't have minded either way... But I have made a few acquaintances here.

[The drow gave him a questioning brow. For him being here this long, surely he has made some friends. Something about his cool stoic nature reminded her of someone else she's met here. If asked the some question, he would call her an acquaintance as well even though they had fought along side eachother.

She ends up chuckling to herself, shaking her head.]

Sorry, I don't mean to laugh. You just reminded of someone.

[He's used to it and....yes he's made friends, but he always downplays it, mostly because he sometimes doesn't even realize that others think otherwise.

[See, he is very aware about how he is so he can make fun of himself. Made better since he's saying it in his usual tone of indifference, as if being sincere.

I'm afraid to say that he is. At least you have enough self awareness to admit it. I can already see the look on his face if I even suggest the idea of us being friends. The stubborn fool.

[The drow said with a light teasing snort.]

I've heard it often enough.

[But there is a faint, wry grin at that.]

And it's Eustace. You said yours was Koh?

[The drow smiles back, giving a slight bow of the head.]

That's correct. You have a good memory. My full name is Kolnatha Shavval, but no one calls me by that name unless I'm in trouble. [She chuckled softly.] It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Eustace.

Sorry if this is too informal, but you mentioned back home you had a team? Were you an adventure like me?

Noted. [That really is a handful of a name, though he's heard similar in his world so it's not so strange, either.] And likewise.

[At her question, however, he just tilts his head slightly and hums for a moment.]

Not quite. While I did help another group on theirs, I work for an organization. The team I speak of are other members who work with me on occasion should the mission call for it.

[Moonlight Fairy? That got a small chuckle out of the drow. That was new one for her. There was only one who made sense calling her by that name. She only danced with a handful of people upon her arrival. Fewer who she danced with under the moon.]

I never got to thank you for the dance that night. Its been sometime since I've danced like that. You wouldn't be interested in an encore performance, would you?
