But I also love birds a whole lot! Being able to soar into the sky like that is so peaceful.

I can tell you being able to fly is one of the best feelings in the world. Everyone that can fly, should.

I'm probably biased because I am a bird.

I've never truly flown by myself, only on an airship. But when I'm in the sky... it's the most beautiful feeling!

Huh!? You're a bird!?

And I've never been in an airship. I'm not much for transportation.

My quirk is a pair of wings, and a few other things like a hawk and that's why they call me Hawks.

I would imagine it would be easier for you to get around on your wings rather than an airship! [ Although she does know a few people with wings that are apart of her crew! To each their own, though!

But all this talk does her even more curious... ]

Well, it's very nice to meet you, Hawks! Do you mind me asking what a "quirk" is?

When I'm faster than all of them? Undoubtedly. [ What a show off. ]

I don't mind at all, people ask me all the time. In my world almost everyone has some kind of ability that surpasses what used to be the normal limits for humans. I have a mutation-type quirk, which means I have permanent mutations that are outside the range of what's considered normal, namely my wings. They call someone like me a heteromorph.

Quirks can be just about anything at all, and these days either come from one or both of your parents, or it's a spontaneous one that develops on its own.

[ And that's all she says for a moment. There's a pause in her reply as she takes the time to read and mull over the words he's written. Yet when the response does come, it's quick and excitable as her feelings! ]

That's so amazing!! I've never heard anything like that before!!!

Back in my home world there are looots of different people who have all kinds of special things about them, but for everyone to be special? It sounds so magical!

I think that would be the case even if we were all quirkless. Everyone's good at something, right?

I don't know if it's magical, sometimes it's hard for people to get along. I'm a professional hero, so I use my quirk to help people.

[ She couldn't agree more. Everyone Lyria have ever met has something wonderful about them, even if they don't think so themselves. She's always thought that, and will remind anymore who needs to.

Yet something else did grab her attention a bit more- ]

That's right. I'm ranked number two in Japan. We have rankings that are based on our success rate, and support from the public.

It's good, but being in the top ten comes with a lot of other things that the public likes but are kind of a waste of time. Brand deals, modeling that kind of thing.

That all sounds like so much fun, though! I'm sure the people of this Japan place love you very much.

And if I was able to vote for you... I'd put you at number one!

Do other people know you're a superhero? It must be a little different now that you're in an entirely new place.

Anyone who's asked me what I do does, yeah. It's really different. At home everyone knows my name, and honestly, if I wanted to walk around anywhere I wouldn't get very far. Good thing I have wings.
