[Now that Eggman has been here for a few months, he's about ready to make some moves. Specifically, he's been working on a little project. It's taken him some time to acclimate to the magitech of this world, and to gather appropriate resources, but the good doctor is nothing if not industrious.]

Attention fellow riftfarers!

I realize that I have not exactly made the...best impression to most of you. And still, there are others who come from my particular sphere of reality who have warned you that I am not to be trusted.

I readily admit that I have made a great many...missteps in my time. But never let it be said that Dr. Eggman can't shed his shell!

And so, I come to offer my particular brand of expertise. Behold!

[Eggman steps back and procures a small disc. A disc that, with the press of a button, creates a small projection of five, animal-themed automatons.]

These designs might be a bit antiquated but I am offering to construct these automatons for interested parties with custom functionality! They're quite good at reconnaissance and security, but they can also be used as personal assistants and companions! In fact, if you were interested, I could scale them down and make them into fun little toys for yourself or a friend! And I am offering these "Radniks" at a pittance! Whatever you wish to pay, I will gladly accept!

Consider this a peace offering from the great, magnanimous, Dr. Eggman.

[Truth be told, that's not boding a lot of confidence in Ranma being a potential buyer. Wasn't like the opening announcement helped convincing him to spend a single cent either... Work on your sales pitch better dude!]

For fighting? I'm a martial artist, so having something to hit and-or hit back would be great.

Regardless, while I am capable of simulating sentience in my designs, I don't see the need for such a thing with these 'bots.

I am on the garden barge that my crew owns. I was checking in on some of the flowers I managed to propagate from living samples some months ago.

Well, I do have an old design...one that I used to defend one of my sky bases.

[He brings up that holo disc again and shows off Turtloid.]

Make no mistake they're not particularly fast...but they can take a beating. And I believe I have enough of a grasp on magitech to allow it some ranged combat functionality.

Hm... What do you think, boy?

[He pauses, listening to the chattering noise from off-camera.]

Sounds promising. Doesn't need to be fast for now. So, if you've got one, we're interested.

[Ooh! A clone of himself?

Near-instantly, without missing a beat:]

[His mind is screaming this is a trap. Especially when the doctor knows he's lacking in certain abilities. But he can't just leave this alone. Especially when Eggman intends to give these creations out to others.] You'll show me the whole process.

[Just come as prepared as he can be for anything. Like he always does. He makes his way to the area near the warehouse, finding a tree or a building to get some high ground. He's checking the surroundings to see if there was anything suspicious around the warehouse before getting any closer.]

Our Sapience was unintentional. Our creation resulted in bloodshed and suffering for both the Geth and our Creators.

(You know, machines rising up in response to ill treatment, that sort of thing.

They do not want to see it happen again.)

I didn't know you could make mechanical companions as well.

You mean the kid that's already in your IQ bracket despite his age? Yeah, him.

[Sonic likes to brag about himself, but he likes to brag about his little bro even more. Eggman's already reached peak brain, and Tails is already rapidly catching up. Suck it, Eggman.]

Oh. Those are...kinda cute.

[She smiled warmly. She was new here and had no clue who Dr. Eggman was, but he sounded like maybe he was turning over a new leaf? That was nice.

She hoped. Because otherwise she did not want to deal with Shinra-like creations.]

A little sharp in places though? Maybe you could round out a few spots when you make them?
