[ The feed starts out a little dark, honestly. But one can definitely hear the heavy breathing of some sort of creature. ]

Come on, girl, you have to let me out sometime.

[ Light suddenly shines through and one can see Claude's hand pushing up a large wing and exposing the vast expanse of white scale. ]

Apparently she thinks that I also need to stay in her nest. You'd think we've gone back in time where she had just been a baby and me a kid spending nights in the aery together. That's not what this is about though.

[ The camera pans to Khalid, who gives a little wave before pointing back to his wyvern. A white wyvern in a nest, wrapped around two eggs. Claude is still holding a wing up so that he can catch sight of his best friend. The wyvern just releases a little groan and a huff. ]

She had them just the other day. Chances are if you don't see me for a while it's because of these little guys. I'd hunt down anyone who cursed me with this luck, but how can I be upset seeing at how pleased she is? What a proud mother.

Do wyverns mate for life?

[ You know what? He can tell. Not that he knows the reason why but - ]

They'd still be hatchlings of two different worlds. I think that will make them pretty special. They won't be quite one or the other, but a special blend of both.

[ Which is important to Khalid too. ]

Wyverns are funny things, at least where I'm from. Some will absolutely become bonded to their mate and there won't be any other for them. Others won't form that kind of connection.

How intriguing. Did she perchance mate with the native dragons or is she able to produce eggs on her own?

We don't have wyverns where I'm from. Not that I've met anyway.

No, no. She didn’t produce them on her own. My girl definitely had help from one of the dragons on Ocard.

That’s an outright crime, I say. I couldn’t ask for a better partner.

In all seriousness, though, I’m finding that there are a lot of places that don’t have them. It’s strange to me, but it’s probably equally strange to others who have never seen one.

We have them in stories and video games, but not real ones. People came up with them from somewhere, so another pantheon might have them, but mine doesn't.

We sorta have dragons, drakons, which evolved into dragons in other mythologies, more like serpents than anything.

This really wasn't something I was planning for. At least not for a while?

They're like stories, but with puzzles and battles that go along with them.

They're huge, sweat acid, have poisonous bites. Their scales are really hard too.

Ah. I think I've had enough of battles for a while. Puzzles, on the other hand...

That's very true. However, it was my choice to bring her to the island instead of leave her behind.

[ A careless thought on his part. But on the other hand, how could he have known. ]

She probably won't keep me here the entire time. Just when she's feeling especially protective or vulnerable.
