[ The feed starts out a little dark, honestly. But one can definitely hear the heavy breathing of some sort of creature. ]
Come on, girl, you have to let me out sometime.
[ Light suddenly shines through and one can see Claude's hand pushing up a large wing and exposing the vast expanse of white scale. ]
Apparently she thinks that I also need to stay in her nest. You'd think we've gone back in time where she had just been a baby and me a kid spending nights in the aery together. That's not what this is about though.
[ The camera pans to Khalid, who gives a little wave before pointing back to his wyvern. A white wyvern in a nest, wrapped around two eggs. Claude is still holding a wing up so that he can catch sight of his best friend. The wyvern just releases a little groan and a huff. ]
She had them just the other day. Chances are if you don't see me for a while it's because of these little guys. I'd hunt down anyone who cursed me with this luck, but how can I be upset seeing at how pleased she is? What a proud mother.

Nature is more resilient than people give it credit.

In the end, I don't mind really. It's not like I need her ready for battle at any moment's notice.

Should I assume congratulations are in order?
no subject
Maybe he should look into a house or something. ]
For now. We still have a while to see if the eggs are actually viable. I assume so, but ah... Don't count your wyverns before they hatch?
no subject
Well, I usually don't have any eggs to hatch, much less wyverns, but I understand the notion.
How long is the wait?
no subject
Hmmm. About eighty days, usually. Now I don't know if that will still be true, given I don't know what the incubation time for the dragons here is.

I see that the delivery went well. I am glad. I believe congratulations are in order.

My girl here did all the work. I was just here for emotional support. Aaaand now apparently for additional warmth.
no subject
Speaking of, is there anything I might do to help ease your burden?
no subject
But if you really want to offer congratulations, I think you know what Azita would be all too eager for.

[ It's as much a tease as it is a sincere sentiment. ]
About how long do wyvern eggs need to incubate before they are ready to hatch?

[It's not hard to guess 'some kind of dragon' of course, but even that much could be wrong depending on where it's from. And he's not sure beyond that.]
no subject
As for the what, she's a wyvern.
no subject
[That seems strange, but then again, he supposes there are plenty of what he considers regular animals in common.]
