[ The video opens to... the ceiling? With a fair bit of commotion in the background. Voices can be heard near the vicinity of the shellphone, suggesting its user is nearby, before an irritated sigh booms from the side. ]

—Why's it such a big deal, anyway!? It doesn't matter!

[ The jostled device shifts as a hand seems to reach for the camera, only for it to be snatched away just as small fists attempt to clamp themself around it.

Another sigh, but this time from a much younger voice.

"Aw, don't be like that, dad! It's your birthday! Just lettem know!"

There's a loud "tsk!" that follows, and long white hair flashes across the screen before the scene moves again. Almost as if... he had climbed on something? Higher? The world below looks a little smaller, but with that clarity comes the beaming face of Moroha. Her half scowling, half smiling face indicting her motives quite clearly.

"It's a big deal! Tell'em or I'll do it for you...!" ]

H- hey! Back up! Don't touch that—

[ .... Annnnd a "thunk!" followed by the shellphone toppling to the ground as Moroha sweeps in and scoops it up.

"Haaaappy birthday! Make sure to say it to'em, too—" ]

Morohaaaaaa!!

[ Before more rustling and the feed cuts off— ]

See was that so bad? Geez, you make a big fuss over nothin'. Birthdays are important so we should celebrate yours!

[She elbows his side a bit, grinning from ear to ear still. She really hopes all of this place wishes her dad a good birthday. THEY BETTER. If she sees anyone being a jerk to him today shes going to bite.]

'sides I wouldn't be here if you weren't born so if you dont wanna celebrate it for yourself, do it for me!

[She winks before flashing another big grin]

[ The elbowing to his side causes Inuyasha to tense and his body to stiffen. Sure, he couldn't care less about his birthday, but then to turn it around and make a decent point!?

Damn. She was good. Way too good.

Yet despite the advantage she currently has over the situation, this pup wasn't going to go down without a fight! And so he huffs, retaliating by scooping his arm around her neck and drawing her in closer.

Cue the hair ruffles, you little dork!! ]

Fine! But I ain't doin' it for myself! If you wanna celebrate it so badly, then be my guest!

[She shouts out and struggles in his hold and against the hair ruffles. But she really can't stop smiling or laughing despite her protest. It's just...nice being like this!

She reaches up and tugs on a lock of that long silver hair lightly]

Duh! I wasn't gonna let you celebrate solo anyway. That'd be stupid. I thought I didn't know anything about birthdays but you're the worst. Didn't mom celebrate with you at all?

[She's missed some of her own, Towa had to explain it more to her but he doesn't need to know that!]

[ The tugging of his head only caused him to wrap her tighter in a hold, pushing his palm against the top of her head and ruffling it even more!! ]

'Course she did! Sometimes. But we had bigger things to worry 'bout!

And hang on a second! You don't know anything about birthdays!? So why are ya comin' after me!
