yeah he is. but it depends on the robot, i guess. their aesthetic and programming.

yeah. i guess. i made some for bot fighting. not that i do that anymore. moved on from hustling people with that and studying robotics at university now.

well, depends what the bot is built for. baymax was built to help people. healthcare, that sort of thing. he can only fight and stuff because i added that to his original programming, added another chip.

some bots are specifically programmed to fight, like with bot fighting, where people compete and try to see whose bots are the best, which will win. mine, usually. but i don't do that anymore.

And some are just to help out around the city, like helping serve customers.

That seems like a lot to pay attention to.

Like, what if something happens and a server robot starts fighting?

the worst a server robot would do is spray you with condiments or something. they're usually harmless. most of the time. noodle burger boy is kind of an exception.

robots usually just stick with what they are programmed to do. so that's not too likely to happen that server bots would fight. same with baymax. when he learned to fight it was cause yours truly upgraded him with a new chip.

They still could though, if they they got the right chip.

Why would you give him a chip to make him fight?

if they had the programming. the only ones that do would be ones used for bot fighting. and those are remote-controlled. smaller.

baymax being an exception. i wanted him to be able to help me figure out who had taken my microbots that I had made for the showcase to get into university.

That all seems really complicated.

I thought Baymax was for like, injuries and stuff.

Complicated.

yeah. he is. i also added some martial arts to his programming. so he could like help protect me and stuff.

[And because it was cool. He's a teenage boy with a huge robot. Of course, he was going to make some upgrades....]

seems kinda the opposite for a doctor though?

i guess. but sometimes he might need to help defend someone. keep them safe. his programming prevents him from really hurting anyone. i learned not to mess around with that.

[Hiro did learn from that. How much his emotions, his anger, had taken over. How dangerous Baymax could be. How he had left the original Baymax in that portal, if he had given Hiro the other chip Tadashi had programmed.]

I guess that makes sense, yeah. Or he could end up helping someone he just hurt?

i convinced him by telling him he wanted to keep me healthy and safe. so if he learned to fight, that keeps me safe. you know, in theory. cause i can't. well aware i am a scrawny nerd.

But also. You can learn how to fight.

me? i dunno. i mean. yeah, i've watched some martial arts films and stuff, but. i'm not necessarily the strongest or anything.

too bad i can't just program a chip with martial arts like i did with baymax. i dunno, if there's like. lessons or something.
