I seem to have found myself in a bit of a predicament. One second I was on our ship and the next- I found myself here. Wherever here is.

Hey, Avalanche! Don't worry about me. I'm fine. No harm done.

But I could use a ride back to somewhere that my crew could find me later if anyone's in the area?

Hmm. Kinda reminds me of Costa del Sol. Oh, um. This area:

[She pans the camera around to give a view of her surroundings. Aerith isn't familiar enough to recognize it, but for anyone who might it looks like she might be on Latrommi island.]

Well, I've always wanted to ride on an airship... it was a dream of mine! So I hope I'm not afraid of heights.

[She's not, thankfully. She's smiling as she talks.]

Does this have something to do with your 'quirk'?

[ Hawks laughs a little bit. ]

Technically it does, I mean, I do fly. It's pretty quick to get places that way.

Oh! I see. So you soar all over the place rescuing people, hm? That is very heroic. I see where you got the job title.

That's definitely part of what I do, yes. [ Hawks finds the question rather amusing. ]

[planetwhisperer]

[She's just teasing him.] Well, I am a damsel in distress. I suppose I could use a hero... if you can find me?

[That part is less a tease and more literal as she doesn't know where this island actually is truth be told.]

[ He's seen that place from above, he's sure of it, even if he hadn't he just has to fly over the area. ]

This world isn't that populated, I will be able to find you. [ At least she doesn't look like she's in danger. ]

So I should stay out here on the beach so you can spot me? What if I get too hot out here in the sun and need some shade?

[Now she's definitely back to teasing him. Gremlins gotta be gremlins. >3]

[ The sky is the sky at this point, and while clouds seem to be moving through the frame alarmingly quickly, the only other sound is the gentle flapping of his wings. ]

Far be it for me to get between you and your shade. Fortunately, I think I know where you are because I've seen it before.

[planetwhisperer]

[She giggled, pleased with his answer.]

Good! Because I don't have the first clue where I am. And keeping safe from the sun is a high priority when you don't have any sunscreen on you.

Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on the sky in case you miss me.

I won't! [ He grins though, ah yeah most people would worry about sunscreen. He barely has any skin showing at all although he hasn't thought about that in ages.

Aerith won't have to wait too long, true enough to his word, high above in the sky is Hawks, moving far more quickly than likely should be possible. He's not at maximum speed, but he's not being leisurely either. He soars above the island and then drops down in a dive, righting up at the last moment to hover and land with a double hop, even in the sand. ]

[She barely had time to catch sight of him before he was diving down to land. So fast! She didn't hide her amazement at all.

She hadn't seen him with wings last time either so he was quite sight to behold. She stared in open giddiness, smiling at him.]

Hello! That was quick! [She jogged over to him and reached out towards him though she didn't touch.] They're beautiful!

[ That's true, last time he hadn't had them, and if she watches closely his feathers seem to shake a moment. He's very pleased by the praise for his wings. ]

Thank you! [ He did hold still when she reached for them, but didn't comment on that. ]

Are you okay? [ His wings are huge, even now that they're not spread out in flight, resting against his back. The tip of his wing bones are a good bit above his head, and they have to be, or else his primary feathers would drag on the ground. ]
