[ The feed turns on abruptly, with the image jostling - as Della had violently thrown the device on her bed and not realized it turned on. Everyone is treated to her yelling mid-rant, as she kicks furniture and stomps about, pulling at her hair. ]

- Missed it AGAIN, and this time, it's not even MY FAULT! How is that FAIR?! Haven't I done enough? Why can't I just... why? Is this someone's sick idea of a joke?! Am I just not... allowed to be with them? In any world? In any universe? Why? Why? I... I just...

[ Her voice breaks, and she sits on her bed, burying her face in her hands. After a moment, she shuffles, and pulls out a piece of paper from her jacket. From this angle, it's difficult to tell, but it could be a drawing of three little duck boys. She runs her fingers down the image, and then begins singing softly.

Fair to say a good number of people here know Della as an adventure-loving nutjob. But here and now, her voice is filled with genuine love. ]

Unafraid of the unknown...

[ Then, out of the corner of her eye - which may be tearing up - she spots the device. And can guess what happened. ]

... Aw, phooey.

[ With a swallow, she reaches over, and weakly smiles. ]

I've been here for over half a year.

[ She hesitates, then a bitter, terrible sigh. ]

... And this isn't the first time I've been separated from them.

[The drow's brows knit together, understanding that pain all too well.]

Separation is a terrible thing. I am sure they know how badly you want to be there with them.

Look at thw bright side, they are somewhere safe. Would you want them to be stuck here with you?

I mean, the thing is, we're used to dangerous places. We're all seasoned adventurers!

If you're asking if they go without adults - [ She starts, then stops, chuckling a bit. ] - ... well, they're kids. They're not supposed to go anywhere dangerous without an adult around, but sometimes, they find a way.

Oh I remember what it was like when I was young. [Koh chuckles softly to her herself, shaking her head as she thought about sneaking out with Rhyle.] If they are anything like you, I'm sure they are fine. Still.... I understand longing to see them. The uncertainly of it all.

... Yeah. They got the best and worst parts of me, all mixed in there together.

They sound like good kids. I wish I could have met them. [She smiles softly.] They are lucky to have loving mother like you. Not all are so fortunate.

... I could have been a better mom to them. I've got a lot to make up for.
