Have I destroyed him? Sadly, no. But there's so many other battles to be won. Every time he lets me walk away, I win, if only because others throw his judgement— his principles into question.

Let me be clear. I could easily build a bomb with enough nuclear firepower to evaporate you, your zap-happy, dim-witted friend, Sonic, and every other creature that has the chutzpah to stand against me. I could bathe everything in nuclear fire and be done with it. But that's not fun. Winning the game via blowout is so deeply unsatisfying.

I would rather win by cutting him down by a million, billion cuts. Pluck each quill, make him feel the hopelessness and regret of his decisions. Winning means nothing if the defeated isn't there to acknowledge your total victory.

So, no. I haven't won because your scope is woefully narrow. You live in the past. I live beyond the future.
