Warnings: Capitalism?? In all seriousness nothing yet but will add if something comes up.

[Today, Azul Ashengrotto appears on camera, smiling brightly. In fact, he seems to be in a much better mood than he has been for the past month or so, given the good cheer in his tone that accompanies his words when he speaks.]

Hello everyone, this is Azul Ashengrotto speaking. For those who do not know me yet, I'm a mage capable of crafting potions and spells, among various other unique skills to help any unfortunate souls in pain or need. I would like take this time to announce some exciting news regarding my business, the Mostro Lounge: as of today, I not only have my shop available to come and commission me for your magic needs, but the Lounge itself is now available for those who wish to pay a visit!

[He moves the camera now, showing the inside of the Lounge side: it almost looks like a night club, with deep purple hues with the walls and decorations. Azul appears to be sitting at a bar counter, and as the camera moves, viewers will be able to see tables and chairs, a bookcase that appears to have board games instead of books, as well as what looks like a small stage set up for musicians or other performers as Azul speaks.]

Consider this a place to come and relax, or for taking part in games to play as I have been considering establishing a game club of sorts for board games and the like. Anyone who wants to put on a performance or some type of entertainment may also use the stage for playing instruments or having talent shows of some kind if desired. I will accept any offers for those who want to do just a simple event once in a while or make a regular job out of performing for the Lounge: just let me know what works best for you.

[Azul brings the camera back around to face himself again.]

Speaking of which, in addition to entertainment, I am currently hiring anyone looking for work in general. I would appreciate any offers for helping with upkeep at our business, whether that be keeping the Lounge clean, serving drinks, working the front desk, or so on. This also goes for anyone who may be able to help with my shop, as I will still be accepting offers for my other business of making and selling products, magic-based or otherwise. If there is anyone who would like to assist with deliveries to customers that are unable to come directly to the Lounge, it would most certainly be appreciated.

There is currently no deadline for hires. If you are interested in a job position, send me a message and I will set up an appointment for a job interview in my office here to go over the hiring process.

As for those who are looking to come and visit the Lounge, you will need to pay for any drinks ordered, or for attendance to any special events that are planned so that the performers are paid properly for their work, as well as assisting with keeping the business running. I'm sure you understand, yes? Otherwise, there is no entry fee at this time to come in and hang out with your friends or play with any of the games provided. As for business hours for when we are open, I am still working on that since I will need to come up with a schedule that best fits any prospective employees, but I myself should be available between the hours of 8am at the earliest, and 11pm at the latest for the time being. If you have any other questions about the Lounge, or if you need my services for anything else in general, please do not hesitate to ask!

[ it's easier to type his name than verbally talk about him or be seen when it comes to that individual. her anger comes off in sparks, it's way too easy to know it's a sore spot, and she's not yet sure if this is something she should speak about with anyone. ]

I think I remember now who this is--he's a hedgehog similar to Shadow-san, isn't he? I think I've only ever spoken to him once before so far, if I recall correctly. I don't believe he and Darin-san are actually related though, despite both of them having an affinity for the color blue.

[Sonic had been asking for advice at the time about getting past his issues with swimming, and Azul had offered at the time to provide swimming lessons, but the other hedgehog ended up never taking him up on that. But as for Darin... pretty sure he's only talked to that particular gentleman once as well, but it was over a rather odd debate about what counted as a "bed" to sleep in?]

Is Sonic-san a danger to others? Or is this a private grudge that the two of you have with one another?

[ reel it back surge, this isn't any of his business really. in reality, she's pissed, she's mad, and there's something about a private grudge that gets under her skin. how easy it is to get mad at her boss, if she were face to face with him she would have grabbed the guy by now for his choice of words.

a grudge? no. that hedgehog is a danger to others because of his attitude, his choices, but no one understands when she explains it. the amount of people affected back home due to his desire to be the "better person", surge finds herself getting even more upset. ]

I do not typically deny entry to customers, unless I have evidence that they are a serious danger to others or my business. I prefer seeing for myself what someone is like rather than merely going off of just another person's word about someone's character.

[Something that could be said about Surge and Kit too, honestly. He lives above Kaveh's cafe, so of course he heard that Kaveh is banning the two of them from being allowed in anymore... and yet, he wants to give Surge and Kit a chance to have a place that they are able to feel welcome in by observing their conduct for himself.]

However, I do not wish to force you to deal with his presence, should Sonic-san decide to pay the Lounge a visit, and make you feel uncomfortable. As such... I can consider implementing a rule that he is only welcome on days that you and Kitsunami-san are not working at the Lounge. Either that or reassign you to other tasks so that you never have to come in contact with him in any manner... unless he breaks one of the rules we have regarding proper conduct customers should be adhering to in the Mostro Lounge: then, I will give you permission to go ahead and throw him out to the curb as you wish.

[ it's those excuses that makes pinning sonic for everything he did wrong tedious, because everyone will think someone so justice oriented and has everyone's well-being in mind would do no wrong. it's common between people like this, they need proof or evidence, or need them to do something that deems them evil to them.

if surge was able, she would offer herself up as proof, she is the outcome of all his poor choices in life. if she peeled back her flesh, it's not like there's any bones, there's not even a beating heart, it's all...

and the thought only makes her angrier. ]

knowing he exists piss me off i know you wanna keep this perfessional and whatever. i don't like him and i want to crush him, that's something that will never change. i dont want you working with him to make his life easier i think we should leave it up to whatever acts like a holy patron on whether i see him or not and if he gets to live that day

[Well Surge, Azul won't know any of that unless you directly tell him: he may be capable of a lot of things, but mind reading is not in fact one of them.]

I would only ever really "work with him" if he actually pays for it, just like any other customer. Outside of work, I have no obligation to do anything else with or for him otherwise, if that makes you feel any better about it.

[Nor does he forsee that he would want to hire this Sonic person for his Lounge either: Surge and Kit were reached out to first, and as such he will respect that they've got "dibs" in that regard.]

[Azul isn't going to lie to her and pretend that he doesn't know various methods of killing a person... he just doesn't use them because despite Azul's flaws, he does not actually want to do such a thing with his own hands.

From now on, I would prefer that any attempts to deal with Sonic-san does not involve an extreme risk to your own life, if possible. You are a valuable employee of mine, after all, and it would not be ideal if you were greviously harmed.

Oh, thank you for the warning. I will keep that in mind. I just think that it would be a shame if you died in the process: after all, it would be terrible if any friends of Sonic-san's decided that revenge was worth pursuing, by coming after anyone that is associated with you here, and you were not there to protect them.

[Aka himself, and Kit of course. He's not so blind that he can't tell that those two care a lot about each other and that Kit would probably be sad if Surge died.]

Oh, that's a good question... I'd have to look at the numbers I have recorded on my desk, but I believe it certainly took several thousands of hard-earned dubloons for my business here, while my Lounge back home... hmm, hard to say as it'll take me a moment to compare with the currency we use there by comparison.

[He's not giving exact numbers because he doesn't like giving too much away on that front, even if Surge is an employee of his.]

Normally employees are told if we are meeting "quota" or not for the fiscal year and the like, but given where we are, I am not sure how much of that would actually be of interest to you. It may seem rather boring in comparison to discussing your paycheck or what funds can be used to improve the Lounge.
