[ Initially, only Claude's face appears on the feed, alongside is wyvern. She is resting her chin on his shoulder and that hand of his is giving her a pat pat pat. So much patting. ]

I'm sure you all remember me talking about this several moons ago, but hey! The time finally came. I was starting to get a little worried, considering I have no clue what the incubation time for wyvern eggs are here. Everything went smoothly though, I promise. They actually hatched a few days ago, but I wanted to give them some time.

[ Now the video feed shifts, away from Khalid and Azita, and onto the little baby wyverns. Special guest star Leona is also present, already holding a small lizard in his arms. Seems like it's already attached. There's another one, in Claude's arm. ]

Leona and I are going to be co-parenting these kids for a little while so -

[ Unfortunately, Claude gets cut off. With Leona shoving the man's face, ears folded back. ]

Don't say it like that.

[ Too bad Khalid is unbothered, catching Leona's hand and winking. ]

Sorry, gorgeous. I meant co-parenting the hatchlings. [ Another laugh and moving right along. He's looking at the camera once more, ignoring the grumbling from behind him. ] As you all can probably tell, one little one is spoken for. I don't know about this one, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Ironic that they'd hatch while we're having issues with wild wyverns.

I think they have enough critters around, sweetheart. You can't spoil wyverns too much or you just ruin them for flight.

[Well since you're not going to listen to him then Alhaitham will also not bother to respond as well. And the only place that hatchling is going to go is straight back to Claude. He ain't got time for this and his husband has enough on his hands as it is.]

[Kaveh just responds with a picture of Alhaitham napping with Shadowlily tucked comfortably into his arms.

I don't think I need to point out the room that picture was taken in.

[As in, a whole entire room built specifically for said cat. Alhaitham certainly didn't do that now, did he.]

I've never once denied that I give her everything she deserves, which is the entire world and then some.

But I wasn't the one who bought every single toy in that room.

Ah, yes, the suggestions, that I absolutely made an exhaustive list of, that you so happened to be uncommonly biddable and went out of your way to find every item on. That sounds incredibly plausible.

I doubt wyvern boy here is really that worried about finding a home.

He's probably more concerned with making sure anyone who takes them is a good fit than whether or not they go wild, right?

Considering the hatchling's sire is technically a wild wyvern, it could fit right into the wild with natural instincts, though he's not too opposed with finding someone to give it a proper home either.

That sounds like Khalid. And if it returns to Ocard, it'll be well-cared for there, that much I'm certain of--the dragons there are pretty protective of their youngsters.

So I've heard. He won't have to worry too much about it if that happens.
