Glimpse Into What Once Was

Hello everyone- pardon the bit of a mess.
[Papers strewn about, along with a few tools in view, as Turo picked up his shellphone with excitement there in his voice. Setting it down on somethin out of view as he was moving and turning out lights in an office after pushing his desk out of the way.]
As others may have been, perhaps still are, working on various pieces of technology recovered from down so deep, there was an item I discovered in Nilatast that I have finally gotten working! To a small degree, at least— I have only been able to recover one thing on it, but...
[There was an item that was the size of a jewelry box, covered in stars and constellations formed in colored enamel and shined up jewels, that Turo had picked up and was sitting down in the middle of the space he had cleared. Pressing a 'button' at the top.
It sparked to life as suddenly a still image was projected above the box; full of living color and capturing a moment of laughter and fun. The light having warmth and even those creatures outside of such large windows seemed to sparkle. Looking as if everything could be touched—]
Look at this! [Almost looked as if Turo was there, moving to sort of sit by the picture box.] I was able to retrieve the data for this image, I might have found what worked as a photo album, but the item itself came from within one of the ruined buildings down there.
They lived there, played in that city.
[Of course there weren't just human children there, smiling faces all. This was something either a parent or some child that had also been there in the moment wanted to treasure even after the day was over.]
Just a small view into what once was, I suppose.

[Up with the shellphone and into part of the office that at least made it clear he was still within Cosmo's medical building, and there was a little whistle.
Turning the shellphone there would be something almost fox-like in shape walking through the door with those glowing blue eyes lifting to the camera and then past that to Turo himself. The fixed up bot say, head tilted to one side as it made some tune-like noise.]
There you are, this one is still hanging around as it is learning about this new environment. I am still figuring out what it may be programmed to do, but it is up and running after quite a bit of cleaning.
no subject
[He's still kind of instinctively trying to avoid specifically mentioning coming in to check on the other, in regards to any maintenance or repairs Turo might need help with. Even if others might be aware of his situation more now. He's still trying to keep it quiet out of habit at this point.]
Huh. Interesting design. Kind of cute. Given it seems to look like a....fox? Maybe something programmed to be similar to a pet or something?
no subject
[Turo moved down, better for the robotic fox to come closer as its head tilted.]
It is difficult to know as it was found in an area with more of them; they were corrupted and were certainly capable of fighting. Red would know more of it as he is who brought this one to me.
[Back up and onto a work table there was- well, another bot that was dusting at nothing, but certainly made a pleased sort of digital sound as Turo's hand rested on its head.]
This was one I found, and its purpose is much more clear. Very friendly, too.

[Hiro is curious, excited to come and have a look properly. Not that he figures that he could just take the new robots apart to see how they work. But it's neat to find more. Maybe have some new friends for Baymax, who peers over his shoulder, apparently also curious.]
So it's a....cleaning robot?
no subject
[Whatever was going on, it did show there was some deep anger gripping what remained; he had no doubt there was likely sorrow as well, and hopefully... well. Other than discovering what more the city had to offer, perhaps some rest offered to those trapped.
He nodded, the little bot's head tilting as it was likely staring at the shellphone, some curious digital noise.]
Indeed, and it appears to have a few different methods of cleaning at its disposal. Responds in a very friendly manner.

[He watches as the cleaning robot seems to stare at the phone, curious. Hiro isn't quite sure what to make of this as he keeps an eye on the screen. Baymax gives a wave, greeting Turo and the robots. There's something rather fascinating about the aesthetic designs of the robots. So different. One was probably made long before the other? Probably the cleaning one?]
It looks quite different from the other one. The one that looks more like a fox.
no subject
[Hopefully more of that miasma could be cleared away, giving more access to further areas of the city. There was something more down there, flickerings of what could be more than spirits trapped—or so it had felt when he had been down there.
There was what looked like a wave from the cleaner bot in turn, Turo dipping his head some in greeting to Baymax with a smile.]
I wonder if it is because they were made by different—companies, perhaps. Different companies or different people, with different purposes in mind.
no subject
[He admires the robots, curious about how different the designs are. Probably they were made by different companies. Maybe different times. Obviously, for different purposes. There's something interesting about the way that they look so unique compared to other robots he was used to back home.]
Probably. Or maybe different times? Obviously, they're for different purposes. The other seems way more.....mm, aesthetic focused? Compared to the cleaning one.
no subject
[The fox actually leapt up to land beside the cleaning bot, head tilted as eyes flashed as if attempting to scan the older looking bot. The cleaner bot's own head tilted, a 'hand' reaching out to sort of 'poke' the fox.
Just two bots examining one another.]
It is possible. One a little more bulky and reliable to do work like cleaning, while the other might have had to match where it was. Elegance compared to simply appearing 'friendly' in a working environment.
no subject
[Hiro is excited, curious as ever, as he glances at the screen, to the robots, and observes their behaviour with Baymax. He tilts his head, smiling, and he nods as he listens to Turo.]
Yeah. I'm definitely keen to come and have a look. Learn more about them.
no subject
[They were still working with limited resources after all; salvaging from what couldn't be repaired was still finding use.
The two bots seemed to be happy there, even a little wave again to being watched. Friendly.]
There is likely much to learn about them, even if it is part of a step in learning of what was achieved here once. I know the cleaning bot will be able to help there, and the fox-like one here will be kept around Cosmo.
no subject
[He says with a grin, waving back at the robot. He shifts and sits forward more, as if by pressing his face against the screen, he could transport himself to the Professor and the robots. Hiro was always enthusiastic when it came to technology, robots.]
Definitely friendly. For sure.
no subject
[Which was fortunate for the two bots figuring each other out on the table; perhaps they never would have run across the other in how things were. One meant for inside, the other outside.]
Something that is rather fortunate, they were purified of miasma from below.
no subject
[He tries to guess, curious but relieved that the robots were okay. That they were not affected by that stuff. He just really wants to have a look at the robots properly. Perhaps it was that the robots were new to each other. Baymax isn't new to other robots, but he hasn't seen others like this. These ones are different.]
no subject
[At least there was something that could clear it away, to work for the machines still functional if corrupted.]
It can be a little strange, dealing with that, but given these two the work has certainly shown us the level of technology that once was.
no subject
[Hiro muses aloud, wondering. It has potential. Assuming they could figure out a way to replicate it. How common those moths and fish were. Maybe they could use this. He was now rather distracted, immediately considering the potential.]
no subject
I believe we may be able to replicate it, or at the very least take a sample and reducing it down to something potent that can then be stretched out so disturbing moth or fish isn't as heavily needed.
[From there the replication could go from figuring out what made it up to some degree- magic could always be replicated in some form or another.]
