I suppose I should post this here. People having been saying I should be more confident in myself so...

I guess I wanted to let you know my birthday is coming up soon. So, I'm not too sure how to celebrate it here.

Well, first things first. What would you have done for it back home?

Um, I’m not sure? Birthdays back home are celebrated but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Yes I do sometimes.

But I know I'm trying to be more confident and saying I want something for a birthday.

Is there anything you want for gifts?

No, not really.

I think I'm happy with just about anything. So, I guess the saying is... "Surprise me?"
