I suppose I should post this here. People having been saying I should be more confident in myself so...

I guess I wanted to let you know my birthday is coming up soon. So, I'm not too sure how to celebrate it here.

Then no party. It's your day, you get to make the decisions. There's no wrong way to celebrate - what matters most is what makes you happy.

I...I'm actually happy with a lot of things right now. So I don't think I can complain.

Even if I don't really know what I want for my birthday.

Nothing wrong with that either. I didn't celebrate my birthday for a long time, and I probably won't celebrate it here, so I understand wanting to keep things on the down-low.

When is your birthday? Perhaps I can make you something special.

It's all the way in June, so you don't have to worry about that for a while! Just focus on your big day.

Are you sure? It seems odd to be celebrating my birthday when you didn't.

Well, if you really need to know, I just don't want to celebrate it without my brother. We're twins, and I've missed out on years of birthdays without him. Don't really want a repeat.

Then should I make something for you and your brother if he ever arrives here?

If he does, we'd both happily take you up on that offer!
