[The video is of a rocky shoreline, under a grey autumn sky. A small handful of the demon horses can be seen grazing on washed up seaweed.]

[Davrin slowly lowers the camera back down, turning it to face himself. Both he and Assan the griffon, are perched on a couple rocks higher up. Out of immediate view of the horses.]

I know we're supposed to be gathering clippings from these things but... call me crazy.

[Assan lifts his head from where he'd had it balanced on his foreclaws, looking skeptical.]

- Not you. [Then back to the camera.] Anybody tried maybe... taming one of them?

[They're no halla, but maybe it'd be a good idea to have a horse around for land-based travel.]

It can't hurt to have ground transport. We've got plenty of boats. One day, Assan and I will be flying together. [He nods back to where the griffon is looking intently into the camera.]

There's farms, and the animal sanctuary for temporary boarding, until we got something more permanent.

[Hopefully Blitzø would also do the sensible thing as well. They did not have room for a four legged house guest.]

I couldn't help but notice you had an... eager volunteer. Could you do me a favor and keep an eye on him for me?

You mean the assassin? You know him? [Why yes, that is the most important thing about the guy, to Davrin. Not the appearance. The occupation.]

Yes, I do, quite well actually. [The goetia hesitates for a second, thinking to himself. were they officially telling everyone about them? I mean, it wasn't a secret.] He's my boyfriend. He's very.... passionate about horses. I worry he might try to bring one home.

[Wait, hold on- There's one part that Davrin dislikes, and it has nothing to do with animals.]

The assassin part. Nothing wrong with somebody liking horses.

[Good thing he clarified the nature of his question. For a moment there was a flicker of confusion. What wouldn't he be okay dating him?

I am. He runs a very respectable business back where we're from. Is there a reason why I shouldn't be?

Killing people for money is respectable where you come from?

[Davrin... may have issues with assassins. In that he hates them. He may have got over his issues where one was concerned, but Lucanis became the exception, not the rule.]

[Stolas tilts his head thoughtfully. Out of all the jobs for demons to have, it was certainly an ambitious profession from someone of his station. There were more mundane jobs that the average hellborn could have. It was one thing that made Blitzø special.]

Imps are on the bottom on the pecking order so for him to run his own business, it is quite impressive. There are certainly less savory jobs one could have, depending on who you ask.

And there's not some other business he could've started? He had to pick murder for hire?

Oh, we've got assassins. They try and dress it up, too, but it's the same thing. Killing people for coin.

I remember when we were children that he wanted to run his own circus. [There was a slight tilt of his head.] I never ask him why he had the change of heart...

[There was a beat as he stashed that thought away for later.]

I can't say that I am rather fond of assassins on a whole, being on the receiving end of an attempt myself. I don't know much about his vetting process for clients, but I know they are all from the living realm who were 'assholes'. You would have to talk to him about it.
