[ the video clicks on and Naminé smiles and waves at the camera. There's a tad bit of awkwardness there but she's doing her best to look prepared here! She even wrote notes that she has in a sketchbook she's clutching onto. It is her safety sketchbook right now. ]

First of all, I really hope everyone is doing okay after what happened at the party. I know a lot of people seemed suspicious of Ghouls Moon but...well, I was hoping for the best. I'd never really been to anything like that so...

[ She shrugs and frowns just a tiny bit. This is a deep disappointment. ]

Anyway, I really hope nobody got too hurt. And that things were dealt with? [ That one she hopes too. ]

Mainly though I wanted to see if anyone would like to come to a small party on our crew's island! I was thinking of making some things I've been working on and maybe everyone that comes could bring something too? Maybe something they love from their home! We could even set up a little information card about it. Something so that everyone could share a piece from where they're from.

Think we could all use a good gathering after last month. Never thrown a soiree or party myself, but I've attended a few. Could help if you need a hand. Do you have an idea of what you'd like to see or the overall air you're going for?

That's easy enough. Main things to keep in mind are the space you'll be holding it in and what you want that to look like. Furniture, decoration, food, drinks. That sort of thing. Parties, soirees, gatherings - a lot of them are about looks. Sounds like you want some comfort to yours.

Comfort is exactly what I'm going for. Something that will help everyone be comfortable.

I've seen plenty of similar dresses at soirees in the past. Nothing's too fancy if you like wearing it.

[ really makes neve miss her minrathous outfits. people here would think those are wild, but she's always felt most comfortable in them. ]

Focus on seating arrangements, what you want the guests to be sitting on or leaning against. Where they will be spending their time. Couches and chairs that are easy to move and sit on for long periods, tables and stands to sit drinks and food on. Close enough together that guests can talk easily.

Really? I thought maybe those were only supposed to be worn for special occasions.

Oh, those are good ideas! It'd probably be bad if people only had blankets to sit on.

Depends on how you're looking at it. A good outfit is for you, after all, but if you're doing work that day, something that could get caught and dirty might not be the best choice. If you're just wandering town or going to see a friend or even just getting a bite to eat seems fine to me.

Sometimes you can get away with that, if it's the kind of pillows and blankets party and you're planning on that early on. Something tells me you're not thinking of that this time.

The sort of gathering where you sit around telling stories and eating small snack-type foods. Where the point of it is the friendships, getting to know each other, spending quality time together. Most parties are for separate mingling, but a pillows and blankets party could be more intimate. Brings everyone together.
