[ the video clicks on and Naminé smiles and waves at the camera. There's a tad bit of awkwardness there but she's doing her best to look prepared here! She even wrote notes that she has in a sketchbook she's clutching onto. It is her safety sketchbook right now. ]

First of all, I really hope everyone is doing okay after what happened at the party. I know a lot of people seemed suspicious of Ghouls Moon but...well, I was hoping for the best. I'd never really been to anything like that so...

[ She shrugs and frowns just a tiny bit. This is a deep disappointment. ]

Anyway, I really hope nobody got too hurt. And that things were dealt with? [ That one she hopes too. ]

Mainly though I wanted to see if anyone would like to come to a small party on our crew's island! I was thinking of making some things I've been working on and maybe everyone that comes could bring something too? Maybe something they love from their home! We could even set up a little information card about it. Something so that everyone could share a piece from where they're from.

If you'd be interested, let me know! And if you'd like to bring something or help with set up I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

Anything! What kind of place do you all come from? Is it common for your people to be monster hunters?

Just the truth, from my perspective. My clan came from Arlathan. It's... a big, ancient forest, where elves supposedly had a whole kingdom, long time ago. Far as monster hunting? No. It's really not.

Have you traveled a lot around your world?

Yeah, all kinds of places. Mostly the wild ones. That's where I like it best. ... Different. I think.

I'm envious, I'd like to see as many places as I could.

You can do that here, right? Do some traveling? Not according to my clan. Dalish are... insular. They didn't like me leaving, setting out on my own. I don't see them anymore.

Good. Plenty of wild, new places to look into out there. It is what it is. But, I've got the Wardens - I've got my friends in the Lighthouse. I've got Assan.

Have you been to a lot of them here?

You couldn't ask for much more than Assan! But who are the Wardens?

Many as I can. Taking on the bounties here and there tends to help, too. The Grey Wardens. They're protectors, more or less, against the Blight - the darkspawn. Someone said they're like "zombies".

I've been thinking of trying those once I get better with my magic here.

Oh. That sounds like a really important job And very dangerous.

I'd be careful, even then. They're not easy - most of the monsters that need to be taken down won't hesitate to eat or kill you. It is, I'm not going to lie. Darkspawn blood will Blight a person, eventually turning you into them. Wardens... we're immune to it, for a good couple decades after we join.

I know and I want to be very prepared so I don't accidentally cause anymore problems by getting in trouble.

Traveling in groups tends to help with that. Better to be in numbers in case something happens. It's necessary. We know the risks when we join. When it's our time, most Wardens head to the Deep Roads, and go out fighting the monsters.

I've suggested that to other people but I guess I'm not good at taking my own advice. I don't want to ask someone to come with me then get them in trouble, you know?

That sounds like a huge risk to take. Could that happen here to you?

I think if someone decides they want to come with you, they've probably made the choice already. They can always say no.

[Oh wait. He... has not thought about that. He'd always thought they'd get back, eventually. Could they really be here for decades? Could the Calling happen so far, so cut off, from the Blight?]

I'm glad to hear that. I'd really hate to see something like that happen to you. But if you ever did start to feel strange I hope you'd tell your friends here. I bet we'd be able to find a way to help.

Maybe not "bad", but... doesn't really help anything, no. I'm sure it'll be fine. Don't worry too much.
