[ the video clicks on and Naminé smiles and waves at the camera. There's a tad bit of awkwardness there but she's doing her best to look prepared here! She even wrote notes that she has in a sketchbook she's clutching onto. It is her safety sketchbook right now. ]

First of all, I really hope everyone is doing okay after what happened at the party. I know a lot of people seemed suspicious of Ghouls Moon but...well, I was hoping for the best. I'd never really been to anything like that so...

[ She shrugs and frowns just a tiny bit. This is a deep disappointment. ]

Anyway, I really hope nobody got too hurt. And that things were dealt with? [ That one she hopes too. ]

Mainly though I wanted to see if anyone would like to come to a small party on our crew's island! I was thinking of making some things I've been working on and maybe everyone that comes could bring something too? Maybe something they love from their home! We could even set up a little information card about it. Something so that everyone could share a piece from where they're from.

Not downstairs, no. Was outside when the whole thing happened... Heard people got caught up in the basement, like you said.

[She shrugs, as if it's no big deal.]

Had to fight through some monsters in the gardens, but I had a feeling something like that would happen. Came prepared.

I'm glad you didn't get caught up in it. But I'm sorry you had to fight monsters outside too. I'd heard there were some problems there. Sounds like the entire thing wasn't meant to be fun for everyone. Except I guess the person that invited us. It seemed like she had fun.

Little too much fun from the sounds of it. Glad that mess got cleaned up, though.

[She's just glad that she didn't end up caught up in that whole thing in the basement.]

Besides, I've got a feeling your party's gonna be better. No big surprises?

Me too! I got turned into some weird things. I didn't like it.

Well, maybe a small one for one person but it's a good surprise!

Well, as long as he's not listening in, I doubt he'll figure it out. Does your friend have a favourite food? Maybe I'll bring something by.

I'm sure he does but...I'm not sure I know it. I should ask him, it's not being a very good friend for me to not know.

[Noooo, she doesn't want anyone thinking that they're a bad friend. Especially because she's trying to surprise him.]

Think that's part of the fun. Always learning something new about the people you care about.

[Gods know she was still trying to work on that, or at least trying to make an effort to before everything happened the way that it did.]

That's a very positive way to look at it. There's so much to learn about people, I love it! I never got the chance for having many friends until recently.

[It's not every day that anyone calls Lightning 'positive', but she'll take it.

But her expression saddens a bit at her admission.]

No? You mean since coming here?

Yeah. I mean back home I had a few friends and I was just really getting the chance to get to know them. [ and she's very grateful for that. ]

But here there's a lot more of a chance. [ especially since one of those friends is here now rather than wherever he went to after sacrificing himself once again like the ridiculous boy he is. ] And much more of a chance to make new friends.

Have you made many?

[Naminé seems like the kind of person that would draw a lot of people to her. Lightning can't say she knows her well, but... she reminds her a bit of Serah, even just from the small interactions that they have had.]

I have! Everyone here is actually really nice and very interesting.
