[Chopper looks rather happy, sitting wearing his ghost costume with a small pile of candy surrounding him. Evidently, everyone seemed to think his costume adorable and gave him lots of candy. He smiles, beaming and waving a hoof at the shellphone, putting another empty wrapper in the rubbish bin next to him with the rest. He may have chocolate around his mouth. But that's clearly not the important thing here!]

Everyone! Hey! So, we've had this 'Halloween' with dressing up and stuff. What other holidays are there?

Well, my world has a TON of holidays, and I've learned they've made up even more while I was away...

Let's see. After Halloween, my next favorite holiday is Christmas. Heard of that one?

Goddess Day? Ah, I don't mind! It can be ones from home or here. I'm just curious, I guess. Tell me about this Goddess Day? Is that one you celebrated back home?

It is, yes. [ She nods. ] It is a celebration in honor of our patron goddess, Hylia. Traditionally, we offer gifts to our family and friends in the spirit of Her generosity and selflessness.

Hylia? Oh. That sounds nice. It'd be neat, right? To share things from home with everyone. We could have lots of celebrations and learn about each other's homes together!

Christmas is great! It's a time to celebrate being with your friends and family! You set up a giant tree and decorate it, put up colorful lights around your home, wear big cozy sweaters, and everybody gets presents!

Oh, that sounds like a lot of fun! I would love to learn more about the worlds that other riftfarers hail from. Perhaps we can record the answers you receive to your question and plot them on a calendar.

Yeah! Since I don't know if others besides your home know about Goddess Day, but if we figure something like that out, then everyone can celebrate together!

You've already gotten Christmas but in America there's also Thanksgiving that comes right before it. Boxing Day comes after Christmas where I'm from. Then there's New Year's Day. which comes after Christmas.

In spring there's Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Thanksgiving? Boxing Day? I guess the New Year makes sense. But I haven't heard about the others.

I'm sorry, I should have included explanations. [ Now she just feels a bit silly for that. ] Thanksgiving is a day to celebrate friends and family, things you're thankful for. Really, I think it's just an excuse for having people over and making far too much food. Boxing day comes directly after Christmas and in essence it's just a continuation of Christmas. More gift giving, sometimes there's large sales at stores that do open, and a lot of watching sports.

Oh. I guess Thanksgiving makes sense. Sales are good. Nami likes getting things cheaper.

It's a decent enough holiday, particularly if you like pies and turkey. They also have a day after it called Black Friday where they have a lot of sales.

I don't hate either of them? I prefer sweets, but. Pie and turkey isn't bad. When the rest of us get a chance to have some before Luffy eats all the meat, I mean. Back home with the Straw Hats.

Nami really likes money. So any chance to save some and keep more...

Lucky you then,there's usually a plethora of sweets involved in all of those holidays. From pies to cookies and even cakes. Does your friend Luffy often take all the meat? Someone should teach them about sharing.

Oh, it isn't just meat. Luffy will eat pretty much anything. He just. Really likes meat. We had to lock up the food so he wouldn't eat it all before Sanji could use it.

[He misses his crew from home. As much as he enjoys his new friends and crew here.]

My world appears to have different names for these celebrations. The people of Eorzea call this time All Saint's Wake. 'Tis then followed by Starlight at the end of the year, whilst the turn of the new one is known as Heavensturn - traditionally only held in the Far East, although their envoys have attempted to spread the celebration across the sea.

In the middle of the first umbral moon is Valentione's Day. The next moon hosts a festival known as Little Ladies' Day, which is then followed by Hatching-tide. The Moonfire Faire is hosted in the fourth umbral moon closely followed by the anniversary of Dalamud's fall.
