[The video feed flickers on to show a tied, ruffled owl-faced demon. It was hard to tell since he had natural red eyes, but how gaunt his face looked, it appeared that he had not been sleeping well.]


Hello everyone. I'm in need of a little help.

[Stolas smiles weakly.]

Has anyone seen a imp running around lately? He would be hard not to miss. I woke up one morning and he wasn't in bed, which in itself isn't too much cause for alarm. Blitz often woke up early to go shopping or make breakfast for us but.... Some of his things are gone and I haven't been able to reach him. I am concerned something has happened to him. He's been gone for too long.

If anyone knows of his whereabouts, I would be most grateful.

[ Well that makes it even harder not to be somewhat concerned. At least he's made more friends here than he ever really expected. He doubts he'd be doing nearly so well otherwise. ]

Well... I know we don't know each other, but you seem like maybe you'd be better off not bein' alone today. If you'd like.

[ He shrugs, a little awkward seeming. ]

[A small smile crept on the owl's beak at that. He wanted to hang out with him? When he first arrived, he was not in the best mental of places, his deep depression causing him to hermit up in his apartment. If it wasn't for Blitz forcing out, he would have probably wasted away.]

Stolas. [He offered his name with a small nod.] My name is Stolas. I... I would appreciate that. It might do me good to get out of my house for awhile. Clear my head.

[ A pause. He doesn't know him enough to really have an idea what sort of thing to suggest. ]

Have you... been to the Conservatory before? Do you like gardens or animals?

[ Look, hanging out somewhere pretty and petting his big weird dog makes him feel better. ]

[There was a knee-jerk glitter of excitement that flickered behind his eyes as his mouth opens to speak, but the goetia hesitates. That spark of enthusiasm dimmed slightly, still he offered a kind smile back.]

I have been there once. Blitz took me there for our first official date. [The owl paused, his mind elsewhere for a moment.] I am what you might call a plant enthusiast. Back home, I used to have an extensive greenhouse. Though, I wouldn't be opposed to going again.

Well... that's somethin' we have in common. I do a good bit of the gardening there, these days.

[ He seems cheerful about that, possibly a little bit proud. ]

But uh, if it's not the best place right now that's perfectly fair, too.

Oh? You do? [His smile widens.] I wasn't aware you could do your own gardening there. I would love to see what all you have grown. Though, I will warn you, I have been known to get overly excited and go off on little tangents.

[ That gets a laugh. ]

Well, if I'm honest I'd be a hypocrite to judge anyone for that.

[ He does tend to prattle on. Of course, he also is a hypocrite when it comes to all sorts of things. ]

But yes, I've been volunteerin' there since... shortly after I got here. The professor was kind to me and I wanted to pull my weight in some way. But I get some free reign to plant what I want. I help care for the animals, too. And one of 'em is mine now.

[ A little pause. ]

Pretty sure we can always use more hands there.
