[For those familiar with Cosmo Conservatory on Eltrut the inside of the reception building would be instantly recognizable—what wouldn't be familiar would be three large box-shaped structures, one of them with a crystal clear front and two others that allowed smaller viewing windows lined up near a wall that had been cleared for them.

Soon enough Turo's head pops into view as he turns the shellphone as he moves to not simply show the machines, but himself standing there in front of them.]

Hello everyone, Professor Turo here with the announcement of an additional way those interested may help fund Cosmo Conservatory. Those of you from my last discussion of funding already know of the plushes inspired by creatures of my world and those we house here at the sanctuary that can be purchased, of course.

[Panning over the vending machines then, to give a bit of a closer look as he continued on.]

What we have here are something known as vending machines, that will take dubloons, and allow for the purchase of edible and drinkable goods for those who drop by. Re-stocked fresh daily we have things like baked goods from local bakeries to foods kept hot or cold from other local restaurants and the like. The heated vending machine will even dispense hot coffee of a few kinds, or hot chocolate, while the cold comes with the addition of ice cream and cold drinks. Each is packaged safely no matter which one you choose to use. Every doubloon spent will go into the upkeep of the animals and Cosmo itself. I finished their construction and am rather happy to have them finally installed here, and my thanks to Cid for his aide in that.

[Teamwork, and meant Turo had the time to help make a few extras for Cid to have at The Roost as well—]

For those of you who work and volunteer time here, you may drop by my office and collect a specially made coin that allows you to use these vending machines for free. Consider them as an extra thank you for all that you do in helping out, as both Red and I do deeply appreciate it.

Oh, that sounds like a good idea. But what if one the animals knocks them over?

A fair question—they have been stabilized to make that incredibly difficult, and more reason for them being inside of the reception area as few animals that could be large enough to do so cannot easily come in.

[Moving around just to show the pieces helping anchor the machines in place—]

Which is also a safety precaution, given the mechanisms inside to power them; for the other two generating the heat and cold as well. They are also rather heavy due to their 'innards' that make them work, even with the magical short cuts it makes their weight what it is.

[Nico doesn't look convinced.]

When the Cerberi grow up they're going to be really bit. Like, at least three stories probably.

I am afraid you're not correct in that size estimation; they will not be much bigger than your average large breed horse at most.

[The long talk with that breeder when he'd gone to ensure they had everything needed was certainly something—never blamed Sherlock in going and giving the man an earful about the entire predicament.]

These are not quite the same breed you may be used to in your world, their growth is different and due to the man breeding them and how he went about it.

Well, that's good.

[Nico will believe when he sees it though.]

Still, if they work together, they could cause significant damage.

This is also well known, and it was warned that once grown—well, the breeder said they would turn fully wild and run off. This was the other reason we opened our doors to them, to give them a place they could remain safe and grow freely whenever those who had adopted them vanished... or, well. [One hadn't been adopted and had gone on a murderous rampage; they were brought in and found a loving person. Angel was doing rather well with Faulkner after all.] However they turn, what matters is they grow up happy and healthy.

The few buildings in the conservatory were built with destructive tendencies and the nature of this world well in mind, and reason these are set inside of the reception building, along with the precautions set up.

Much of this was tested before I had them moved inside of here, after all.

[Nico takes a moment to consider this, head tilting not unlike the Cerberus puppies.]

Oh. I guess I missed that. I thought they were outside for some reason.

Outside would be a place for them if their construction was different. Given they are a mix of magic and what technology I was able to piece together from scratch and scraps I felt it best to have them inside of the Reception building.

Far less likely for some curious creature to manage their way inside of one and hurt itself, after all. This way I've been able to lessen those chances as well, since any animal within the building would have a person with them.

[A pause- oh, right.]

You do qualify for one of the special made 'coins', by the way. The machines will spit it back out once the items have been dispensed.

Of course, and do come by at your leisure to pick it up. If you do ever lose it you are allowed to ask for a replacement, before the worry comes to mind.
