Tried to make it concise. Didn't want to lose my audience.

[There is absolutely more to it, but that was the extent that Verso was willing to divulge for now. But, he knows he set it up to sound grander, so he'll offer a bit more.]

The Nevron had about as many arms as this creature, stalking you in the dark, its lamps slowly illuminating the path one by one. Despite being large and unwieldy, it's hard to see it coming. Unless you know of it ahead of time, of course.

This thing though... It seems like something you'd hear coming before you see it. Or maybe feel it. Somehow that feels worse.

I suppose that would depend on what frightens you more: the unknown monsters hiding in the dark, or the one at your back pursuing you relentlessly.

What a fascinating world though. What age has this Paintress reached so far?

She'd reached 33 before I found myself here. The oldest people left would've been 32.
