in my world, there was this thing called Stone of What Was

if two living things touched it, they'd be joined together

no clue, i didn't name it

but once things got conjoined, they couldn't be undone

so i saw a bear with butterfly wings and a hippo with rabbit ears and all kinds of craaaaazy combos

and naturally it got waywaywayway worse when they started combining with people
