As tempting as that is, I'm not in the habit of killing things simply because I don't like the way they look.

Okay, I - see how that sounded. I guess it's fine if it's not actively harming anything.

I'm rather more concerned with the hunters who will come after it for the bounty. This thing does seem very territorial.

Actually, I should be more concerned about whether there are several of these roaming about or if this is the only one. It does not look to me like a natural beast.

Has anyone owned up to ... putting that thing together? That seems like some kind of animal cruelty. Not to mention human.

How would you even figure something like that out?

Figure out what, its population? With the tried and true method of interviewing witnesses and observing the local wildlife. I've not the time to do that myself, that said.

If it is a naturally born thing, there are certain theories one can test on its grazing habits and migration pattern, if any.

You can't just... magically figure that out? There's no ah. Spell or something for that?

Well, no. I'm only making that conclusion based on what I have observed. If someone had performed surgery on this poor beast then there would be scars, yes? But there are none. Which implies either a level of magical manipulation to graft the limbs together - making it a chimera - or it was naturally born this way.
