Emet-Selch! I have them! The apples, too. The varieties were unfamiliar to me, so I brought a few kinds just in case.

Hmm, I worry it may attack something behaving in an unusual way, but we may as well try it.

[ He flicks a finger and one of the apples floats up. Then gently bobs its way over to the horse with another flick. The creature looks up and watches the apple approach warily...

The hand-horn slaps it out of the air on to the ground. The horse circles it like a predator studying its prey...before finally deigning to take a chomp. ]
