Good day, all.

As ever, we face all manner of changes day to day. Meetings and partings, new lessons learned...

[He trails off briefly.]

I would like to play music with others here sometime. One final hurrah for my old instrument. Even if our tastes and styles differ, it's something I'd like anyway. Whether you sing, play drums, or something else, I would like the chance to share that with others.

In person is ideal, but I am flexible. I know we all have things to be doing; this in itself, I suppose, is a selfish request of mine.

Music you say? I've been itching to play something myself of late. What do you play?

I'm pleased to hear it. I could use the musical company.

A shamisen. It's an instrument from my people, so it's not terribly popular but it brings me peace. It's not unlike a sitar or a guitar, if you're familiar with those.

While I'm familiar with a guitar, it's the first I've heard of a shamisen.

[Consider his interest piqued.]

I play piano mostly, but have dabbled with a little guitar.

Both excellent choices. I'm certain we can match up well.

What kind of pacing would you prefer?

I can match your pace, considering you're the one putting this together.

Is there a special occasion for this?

...Yes, as a matter of fact.

Soon, I will need to give up my shamisen. One could simply replace the instrument, but it has remained my last link to my team from home all this time. So I wanted to give a farewell to it.

[musicien]

[Well, that's certainly more dramatic than Verso could've expected.]

You're parting with it? For what reason, if I may ask.

It is for a project that may assist in opening rifts to return home. A personal item of great value is needed to be sacrificed.

Fear not, I am consenting to the occasion. If it helps, I see no reason not to.

[He had heard about the project but hadn't listened to the broadcast in full. Perhaps it's something he'll need to look into, just to keep tabs on what is going on.]

I don't plan to object. The item is yours, after all. But it certainly adds more meaning to the performance.

You said you preferred to play in person. Did you have a place in mind?

I'm glad you understand.

Verso. I'm looking forward to it as well. I'll be at Dragon's Milk within the hour, with a piano.

[What does that mean even?

It takes some asking around but he eventually finds his destination, consuming the better part of an hour in the process. While he hadn't asked how he would tell who Espio was when he got there, he had a feeling they would still find each other.

As soon as he arrives, he begins to move things around, making sure there was enough room for his instrument. It's enough to cause a small commotion as those around begin wondering what might be going on.]
